Lately, I'm finding it extremely difficult getting into retro games that aren't in the Castlevania series. So far, I've tried a few minutes to a few hours of, but dropped:>Final Fantasy Adventure>Ratchet and Clank 1>Jak & Daxter 1>Metroid 2>A 3rd replay of M&L: Superstar Saga>Choro Q Wonderful!>Ys 1>Ninja GaidenWhy can't I finish these? Am I just retarded? I've completed a lot of the classicvanias and IGAvanias, and I'm already on my way to complete Dracula X and Lament of Innocence (the latter I initially didn't like). What do I need to do to give these non-Castlevania games another go in hopes of beating them?

I hated that version immediately, but I’m looking to try out the Gameboy original or AM2R instead. Also, does beating Zero Mission count as beating Metroid 1?
