>>12810749The fact no military shooters are being made for the current war shows how badly the US is getting raped in it
>>12810884How would you even make a fps based off it? It's just lobbing drones at each other. It would have to play like Descent or Incoming.
>>12810749Military and intel actively encourages shooter games that are pro usa. >>12810884>>12810912Don't want to scare people away from joining if they think they are going to be drone fodder.

>>12810749>a flood of shootan gaems set in the middle east results, ushering in the era of brown and bloomI had to make a collage about "war on terror core" games so most games would be the ones from 2001 to 2009ish like conflic desert storm, men of valor and the list goes on, like full spectrum warrior, delta force and the list goes on.
>The game was developed by Sony Bend, which was formed after Sony's purchase of Eidetic.[3] It was originally slated for release on September 25, 2001, but the fallout of the September 11 attacks forced Sony to postpone the release while modifying the marketing campaign; the game was eventually released in November.[4] The game's original cover had Gabe and Lian in action inside a courtroom that had a U.S. flag in the background amidst a swirl of gas. The anthrax scare following the attacks resulted in the cover being changed to a simple one showing Gabe's and Lian's faces, while the header line "United States Federal Bureau of Investigation" on the back cover was changed to "Agency Mission Briefing>Text Removals: Completely removed references to "terrorists," a "deadly arsenal," green gas, federal buildings, and the prominent banner reading "WANTED: Deadly Force Authorized".>Header Changes: The descriptive header text "United States Federal Bureau of Investigation" was changed to "Agency Mission Briefing>Original (Pre-9/11 "9/11 Edition"): Featured protagonists Gabe Logan and Lian Xing inside a courtroom or federal building setting with a prominent U.S. flag in the background, all shrouded in green gaseous/chemical fume>Sony delayed the release of Syphon Filter 3 from September 25, 2001, to November 2001, and modified its packaging to remove imagery associated with the American flag, federal buildings, and chemical/gas attacks following the September 11 attacks and subsequent anthrax scare
>Dual Jewel Cases: The recalled pre-9/11 version was packaged in a double/dual jewel case (which included an extra weapons guide insert) despite the game only containing a single disc, a format that was later altered or discarded for standard single-case configurations on many subsequent production runs. >Rarity: Because copies of the pre-9/11 artwork had already been printed and shipped to warehouses before the recall, a small number escaped destruction and entered circulation, making the original 9/11 American Flag Cover a highly coveted and valuable collector's item for original PlayStation (PSX) collectors
>Enter: Electro was originally scheduled for release on September 18, 2001.[2] Following the September 11 attacks, Activision delayed the release of the game in order to remove references to the World Trade Center, and the game was pushed back to October 18 of that year.[3]>The pre-9/11 version of the game was released online by an Argentinian YouTube user in 2015.[4] The video under which the ISO was linked explains that the uncut version was sourced from the user's childhood copy of the game, which the user suggests may have been a pirated bootleg disc.>It is unknown how uncut retail copies of the game have surfaced in private hands. There is a misconception that the game was recalled from shelves following 9/11, with some sources claiming the game actually released in August of 2001; this has never been verified and there are no contemporary sources confirming either the supposed August release date or the product recall
