Is Yakuza a better name than Like a Dragon
Ryuu ga gotoku is the better name and I would 've localized it as Dragonlike instead of Like A Dragon
I wouldn't have localized it at all, fuck that shit. Let it stay in Japan, the Western "fans" are annoying and caused the games to get censored.

It's like how Resident Evil became less representative after the first game. While yakuza were still part of the plot, with time they became sidelined since Kiryu already stopped being one in the first game and most shit got instigated by external forces, Ryu ga Gotoku/Like a Dragon has a direct link with Kiryu as the MC.

Yakuza just sounds better than Like a Dragon.As far as I understand the reason for changing it is because the actual yakuza isn't as important to the series as it once was, but while that's true, the protagonists are still ex-yakuza (and have more or less always been EX-yakuza) and the yakuza does feature in the games, though in a smaller role. I wouldn't have changed it.
