I just installed a Picostation on my console and im looking to get a modern memorycard, but im confused.Does pic related allow me to save ps1 and ps2 games? or only ps1 games on either a ps1 or ps2 console? i want a single memorycard that lets me save ps1 and ps2 games.
You have to select what kind of card it is in the settings. It will remember your settings. Do not plug this into a PS1 when it is in PS2 mode, although very recently there was a firmware update that makes it safe to do so (I have not tested it).But no, it does not work as both simultaneously, but switching modes is a matter of pressing a few buttons. It works as a PS1 memory card on a PS2 when on PS1 mode.I have 3 of these, and a MemCard Pro 2. I like these more than the MCP2.
>>12813163I have 3 of the ones from Bitfunx, not these ones though. I didn't look closely. The only difference AFAIK is the button and USB port position. On the Bitfunx they are on the front of the card instead of the buttons on the top and the USB port on the side like this one. They use the same exact firmware.

I just want a zero effort method for updating FMCB and OPL. I also back up my saves occasionally. I assume they are all this easy, because they all look the same.
