Got the 16Bit Pocket MD V2 (hardware SoC MD/Gen clone) today and some off the cuff thoughts

>Screen is a cheap blue tinted TFT thing, no possible adjustments afaik

Speaking of which, there's probably a way to play Super Game Boy using the bsnes core on Retroarch Android.
I've done it on Windows desktop, it's how I captured this clip.

Super Game Boy would be a nice way to play Game Boy games on the Nova would looking overly large. Use the SGB2 BIOS to ensure proper Game Boy timing.

I posted this when Thor released. I really wish they considered modular parts more. I've seen a configuration that could've fit in the shell of a clamshell if careful. Yeah, it's difficult getting it to gen but it's better with a drawing. Giving it a vague estimation with a visual aid sometimes is enough maybe 5% of the time. :] glad the modular idea is gaining more traction. They might try it. And even though I consider it a compromise, it may improve ergonomics and usability for the more compact form factors.

See the Vita is a perfect console, which obviously means they chose a perfect resolution, exactly double the PSP resolution.
And since the Vita uses an OLED and not an LCD, if you blank half the lines you get perfect PSP resolution while getting nice scanlines
Few consoles can claim better then original, but the vita can because its the perfect handheld
