The Pokemon Mania is what made Nintendo survive Sony you must have lived through those times of Pokemon Mania to have enjoyed the Pokemon spin off games like Pokemon Snap Pokemon Stadium and Hey You Pikachu the trading card games the special consoles and to have seen the anime and the Pokemon anime movies it felt like a real world Pokemon in its prime thats something that will never be repeated with any other video game franchise ever again

Nope, Nintendo got tons of money with the N64,games which is where the money came from sold extremely well

Actually Nintendo was more profitable than Sony gaming division during the PS1 era
