my gran loves this turismo

What's so great about the GT40 anyway

That's a Ford GT, not a GT40. Big difference.
I think it was Kaz Yamauchi's favorite car at the time. Jeremy Clarkson loved it too.
>>
The only playable retro GT

Realistic racing games are fucking cancerous and no different than sportslop games.

Renting a Ferrari or Porsche for a couple hours on a race track is like 100-200 euros where I'm at and it's infinitely more fun than looking at a TV while you press the X button and the car goes forward and you do nothing else.
>>
Wait a minute, where did you get that picture?
That's the "Cran Murismo" logo, which shouldn't exist and yet it does.

-4 straight wins at Le Mans from 1966-1969
-Ended Ferrari dominance. Ferrari had won LM the previous six years bringing their total to a then record 9 victories, but they wouldn't win again until 2023.
-the 1969 victory was the closest finish in Le Mans history with lead changes happening on the final lap, and denied Porsche of their first victory.

I don't even like Ford, but the GT40 is unfathomably based

People can do both.

Normies will try to force the idea that having a full racing setup like this isn't mental illness and it's actually heckin' based!

What's wrong with having a simulator setup?

Hahaha I'm on 4chan alright

> 100-200 euros

This is just unrealistic. Couple of hours? Fuel costs alone will exceed that. Insurance for a ferrari or some top-tier porsche is also EXTREMELY expensive, or you basically risk going bankrupt if anything happens by cheaping out on insurance. Also there will be charges for all kinds of wear and tear when you do that on a race track with real racing ambitions. All this is on top of the rent. Dont just lie like that, it's not nice.
>>
>>12852531
What are you even talking about you actual fucking mongoloid?

You do know there are actual companies and/or race tracks that you can contact and they have special experience packs where you can rent sports cars and for 100 euros you can easily get 10-12 laps. This depends on the country, but here in Portugal it works like that.
>>
>>12852569
The only place I've seen like that in the US was outside of Las Vegas and it was expensive as fuck.
Anything else is going to be go-karts instead of sports cars, otherwise, you're going to need to bring your own car to the track.

the 2005 GT production model had just been announced during development of the game, and it was a huge deal at the time that Ford was making a supercar. the 2005 GT also was genuinely a faster and better car than any Ferrari or Lamborghini at the time; faster around a track and better to actually daily drive. the first real American supercar that wasn't some kitbashed turdbucket like the Vector. all the while using the retrofuturistic styling that was really popular in the early 00s. it was also made to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Ford motor company. so you had all these different elements coming together to make it a cultural icon.

Look at this sour loser!

He doesn't know how to drive and it makes his butt hurt real bad!

Anon hates the world because he doesn't know how to brake and drive through a curve properly!
>>
>>12852569
Must be nice living with a brain damage. For 100 euros they would not even let you touch a Ferrari, and you want to drive it full throttle for 10 laps. Hell, on many tracks it would still cost more than that if you bring your own car.
Also, 10-12 laps are not a couple of hours, so while you are still so incredibly far off, you already admitted you lied.
>>
>>12852258
Sounds like poor people talk.
>>
>>12852998
100 an hour rentals do exist, but they also have a huge deposit along with extensive background checks to make sure no poor retards touch the steering wheel. gotta prove you can afford the repairs if you crash it
>>
>>12850228
I drove a Ferari around Thruxton but it cost around £500+, you only get around 5 laps for £400
You can probably race other cars for that price at other circuits but not a Ferrari
>>
>>12850228
arcade racers are for people who don't like cars
>>
>>12852998
I may have exaggerated the amount of time you have with the vehicle (I'm kinda autistic with timing - I concede on that), but I've literally ridden a Ferrari 296 in circuito do Estoril for 180~ euros, just after the track had works done after covid, on my birthday.

Not my fault you americans steal everything and don't know how to drive and nobody wants to pay insurance to run these sort of experiences for you mutts

Nigger why am I explaining this to you, just fucking google it or use Chatgpt or whatever you zoomers use
>>
Only sports and racing games get his with this pointless criticism of "hurr durr I can do that irl therefore the games are useless!". Then you point out that by such logic you can do fishing irl and therefore you don't need fishing minigames in Zelda and their neoclitty starts leaking.
>>
>>12853497
Why aren't nintoddlerdiddlers jumping on animals and punching bricks IRL?

>He doesn't know how to X and it makes his butt hurt real bad!
That's basically most of people. Rather than admitting that they fucked up or did something wrong, they blame X instead. Low IQ behavior.

3 was better

GT4 Prologue and GT4 First Preview drive better than GT4

I DO BOTH YOU FUCKING MONGOLOID
>>
>>12852258
There is nothing you can ever say that will convince me being poor is better cope and seethe
>>
>>12852569
>bro is lying on 4chan to cope about being poor IRL
>poortugal

That confirms it.
>>
>>12853317
Ah ok, i understand.

You're just doing it for clout, you dont actually care about driving.
>>
Your gran a bitch ass ho
>>
>>12853497
because it's not actually about "I can do it in real life". it's that they see 'gun and ball' games as appealing to the jocks to bullied them in school, so they hate them on principle.

>the jocks to bullied them in school
Do you live in a Jewish Hollywood film?

I'm a Jewish illegal street racer
