I'm surprised I haven't seen that much info on how much ROCKNIX improves input delay on the Thor. I used it on the RGDS and it felt fine (I don't want to say great, because I never used the stock firmware, not don't have a real DS to test side-by-side, but I had zero issues playing rhythm games).

You will be playing PS1 and under like the rest so all the TSP gives you is the ability to play some Portmaster games better and Ape Escape.RG34XX will require you to open up the system and put some tape on the d-pad contacts otherwise you will be hitting diagonals just by doing any input that isn't straight in one direction. It's genuinely ass and ruined the system until I did that at which point I like it significantly more than my childhood GBA and can't go back to it (Even though the L and R buttons should feel more clicky like the original, I'm not too fond of how it is on the RG34XX)..RG SP is if you like the SP form factor, it's otherwise just he RG34XX in that form factor.

Holy fuck emulation on Android sucks.WcW / nWo Revenge won't save normally because of the way Android handles the "/" in its fucking rom name. Mupen64Plus-Next defaults to OpenGL on Android, even though Android works better with Vulkan. ParaLLEl is made for Vulkan rendering but doesn't work with Mupen64Plus-Next because of the previously mentioned Android glitch/whatever. Every folder needs to be lowercase and god forbid you capitalize your folder names Android will fuck you in the ass and leave you unable to easily correct things because of the way it secretly saves settings. ES-DE and standalone emulators CONSTANTLY have issues handing things off. Android OS adds 3 frams of input lag. Android can't poll two button presses together in the same millisecond which makes game mechanics like the purple/flat shot in Mario Tennis 64 impossible unless you set up a macro and hotkey it.And that's just the shit I have found in the first couple DAYS of playing on my RP Nova.Not to mention you have to PAY for stuff like the non-ad-ridden emulators and frontends that don't even work properly or together well.I can't believe you people recommend this shit.
