>>12851432God didn't we just have this thread.It's very good, but it has a bit of a grind, the gameplay loop is that you go into a dungeon, try and manage your resources (health and MP) as you descend, you will inevitably need to teleport out of the dungeon and heal up, but you'll have gained levels and created shortcuts so your next trip will be easier. If that sounds tedious to you, maybe don't bother, but if you can accept the grind the dungeons and art are great, it has phenomenal music and a good variety of puzzles and locales.

I dont like how theres a long Walkback from town just to GET to the massive dungeon, especially when half the time attempting to flee battles is impossible

>>12851432I'm getting close to the end of Scenario 3 of Shining Force III and there have been a bunch of references to the events of this game. What exactly are Julian and Galm's roles in it? I know Julian is just an NPC but does he only have one or two lines or is it more than that? Also there's all the Innovators vs Vandals stuff and I feel like I might be missing a part of the full story if I don't play StHA but I don't usually like dungeon crawlers.

I thought it was a sidequest and went look for his dad but turns out the whole point is the dad's nowhere to be found.But there is quite a bit about Vandals but iirc you had everything you needed to know about that in the library of the haunted mansion in disc 1
