it was my first DW game but i absolutely recommending skipping it if you're new to the series. it's basically a very bare bones tech demo. there's nothing you're missing by playing 3 first.

I played 3 first but I picked up 2 for cheap afterward. It was a bit hard to adjust how spartan it was in comparison to 3's refinements, but it was a neat enough novelty. I wish Koei would have least acknowledged the few costumes that were different in that game, though.
