Japanese terrorists?

This game is completely unrealistic.
>>
Japan had a terrorist attack a few years before this game came out

>he forgot about the war crimes Japan committed
Don't let decades of international PR around kawaii bullshit distract you. They pivoted to cute for the same reason Canada pivoted to kind.

What did Canada ever do? I swear to the vast mystery of the universe if you say Starlight Tours, I’ll go apeshit on you.

>What did Canada ever do?
as a canadian myself i dont even know but apparently during WWII germans were scared of canadian soldiers.
>>
>>12859795
canada did war crimes in WWI
>>
>>12859757
That was also over 50 years ago.
>>
The Aum Shinrikyo terrorist cell was very much active in the 90s
>>
>>12859741
Would they really be using CAR15's? At least, that's what they look like.

>54 yr
>1972 is widely recognized as a pivotal year in video game history, particularly for arcade gaming. Atari was founded by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney, setting the stage for the commercial arcade industry.

>The company’s first major success was Pong, designed by Allan Alcorn, which was installed at Andy Capp’s Tavern in Sunnyvale, California, and became the first commercially successful arcade.

>Pong was inspired by Table Tennis, a game built into the Magnavox Odyssey, the first home video game console released in August 1972 by Ralph Baer. Although video games were emerging, the arcade industry was still dominated by electro-mechanical (EM) games in 1972. In Japan, leading EM manufacturers included Sega, Taito, and Namco.

>The highest-grossing electronic game worldwide was Computer Space, while the top EM arcade game was Kasco’s Indy 500 (Speedway). These games combined mechanical components with electronic scoring or displays, bridging the gap between traditional amusement machines and fully electronic video games.

>The Magnavox Odyssey introduced several innovations that influenced arcade games, including interchangeable cartridges (which activated pre-set circuits rather than containing separate code) and plastic screen overlays to simulate color graphics on a monochrome display.

We getting old, anon-kun...

USA should have joined central power in 1917 but Famicom War.

*sigh*
But what game is that though?
(I know I've played a game boy color version of it, and I swear I tried to search for a similar game in other consoles/portables but there were only fps games out there)

yes but they were religious cultists who used gasgasgas. guns are super hard to get in nippons. nevermind rifle. even back in post-WW2 , the commie rioters didn't have guns.
yakuza have guns but most of them don't wanna get 15 yrs just for being caught with one, so they hardly used them

inb5 banned for realpolitiks in /vr/

The windows or mac versions look like OP's screenshot, the ps1 version looks different.

If you are looking for other top down "tactical shooter" you should look for The Sum of all fears on GBA:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0tPx54LYPiI

If you want something more modern I suggest:

Thunder tier one
Door kickers 1 and 2
Intravenous 1 and 2
Phantom squad
Police stories
Hot brass

Also if anyone would like to play the original rainbow six with all it's expansions you should play Rainbow six black ops 2.0, you can download it from moddb.

Wait until Japan becomes Japanistan in our lifetimes.

>you gotta be guilty for things that happened 70+ years ago goy

Not Japanese, or a member of any previous Axis aligned nation, but that’s a fucking cuck mentality. It’s been almost a century at this point. Everyone involved in planning WW2 is dead. Let it go.
>>
>>12861109
aren't they becoming Jeetan atm? Or did they do something about it?
>>
>>12861249
Just taking it like the rest of the world is.
>>
>>12861249
It's hard to be more xenophobic than Japan.
>>
>>12861280
The Muslim population has grown 110,000 to 420,000 in the last 15 years, while Japanese people have a high median age and a low birth rate, losing 1 million Japanese people per year. It's all over.
>>
I think people sometimes forget this, but pre-9/11 you almost never heard about terrorists and especially didn't really associate them with the middle east (if anything they tended to be associated with the Irish). Terrorists, if anything, showed up as generic villains in action movies more than irl. Which is why it's so surreal that terrorism is so much of the plot of Deus Ex, a game released a year before 9/11
>>
>>12861354
Those action movies featuring terrorists, like Die Hard, True Lies, Executive Decision, etc... those were made to prepare people's minds for the post-9/11 era. That goes for all types of media, including games.

Once people grow used to an idea, they become much more receptive to the coming changes and don't revolt.

It's called predictive programming and it's a type of military-grade psyop.
>>
>>12861354
History class in schools aren't allowed to call the ones who causes 9/11 terrorists in this day and age. Or say which religion was behind it

Evangelical or Jewish zionists?

It's strange that the wikipedia page doesn't list the gbc version I've played

Don't forget Breach & Clear (and its DLC/sequel)

This is an XCOM-like though, innit?

nothing you said relates to what I said in any way shape or form
>>

The money religion was behind it anon... the US trained Osama bin Laden to fight some other foreigners back in the day, to make money and protect existing moneys, and then the US profited again when he turned against his creators and gave them a bounty of excuses to go out into various other foreign countries with more guns and bombs to make more money.
>>
>>12859741
Is it just me, or are they oddly high poly for 1999?
>>
>>12865629
it was a PC game.

>>12863386
The US never trained Bin Laden you moron

Everything was so much cooler when communists were the most notorious terrorist threat. Things turned to shit when gay ass Wahhabists took the whole scene over.
>>
>>12859741
You've never heard of Aum Shinrikyo?
>>
>>12859741
Japanese terrorist groups were a thing back in the 1970s when the country was undergoing a wave of left wing politics, the public reaction to that is a big part of why Japan is so conservative today. Look into groups like the Japanese Red Army and others.
