join a guild and get a quest that leads to a dungeon. the big ass dungeons don't show up on the map otherwise.

Don't forget to ask people directions until they mark it on your map, and get yourself the teleport spell ASAP.

Do the main quest.
Join the Mages Guild and a Temple and rank up until you unlock their perks.
Buy a ship to store your stuff.
Get all the Daedric artifacts if you're really that autistic (protip: nobody is that autistic).

There are some special quests that reward you with special artifacts. These are better than regular weapons and armors, but generally they aren't worth your time because you can pretty much replicate their effects by enchanting your own stuff. The most useful for me is the book that gives you 30 skill points.

Mages Guild alone gives you so much cool shit, and Temples have some very useful QoL stuff as well.
