What are some SNES hidden gems?
>>
>>12874145
There two oscillators on the main board that have crystals in them that are pretty hidden. Not aware of any others.
>>
>>12874145
Sailor Moon games, the Super Famicom had a whole bunch of them and they're all pretty good. There's beat em ups, fighting games, puzzle games and a pretty good jrpg

If you want a list of SNES hidden gems, you can start by going to Aeon Genesis and looking at all the games he's translated. He's made dozens of quality translations of interesting and fun Super Famicom games.
Unless you're a walking Nintendo encyclopedia, you're bound to find something new to you here.

If you aren't sure where to start, my favorite games he's translated are Holy Umbrella, Madou Monogatari, and Super Robot Wars Gaiden.

>What are some SNES hidden gems?

I think the best way to find out is to watch compilation videos from that SNES DRUNK guy.
>>

Hagane the final conflict
>>
addams family
>>
Marvel Super Heroes in War of the Gems

The spiritual sequel to X-Men Mutant Apocalypse
>>

This is one. It's a Metroidvania type game without all the powerups. Only health pickups, but there are so many secrets in the game. It's impressive.

Anytime one of these threads pop up I say it's Firepower 2000. SHMUP with a great co-op feature.
>>
>>12874247
But will it break me?
>>
>>12874229
Dude these are the most popular games for the system, everyone knows these. God you're a faggot.
>>12874201
Second for this
>>
Super Metroid and Chrono Trigger
>>
>>12874201

Third. Another Story is one of the best Super Nintendo games.

Gundam Wing Endless Duel
Only “hidden” because it was JP only but it’s nice.

I'm a big SNES fan and I've never heard of those games
>>

>1. Super Mario World
>2. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

holy fuck. why don't people talk about these games more?
>>
>>12874145
why is controller not plug in
>>
>>12875129
The huge Earthbound fan isn't excited enough to play it for the first time yet
>>
>>12874418
If you're new to the series or puzzle games in general? Yeah, actually. It will break your back.
>>12874145
I like the fire men and goof troop. For the real hidden stuff you need to learn moonrunes or be comfortable playing untranslated games.
>>
The two Bonk games are some of my favourites in the series, but noone acknowledges them because "Bonk belongs on TG16". It's a similar situation with Ys fan pretending that the Famicom versions are shit.
>>
>>12875447
What the fuck a bonk game I’ve never heard of…anon-sama,I-I kneel.
>>
>>12874350
All three of them.

I'm a middle aged man who likes fairies.

Someone else already gave you a list of actual hidden gems (the one with Marvelous) but if you've heard of picrel's cartoon show, chances are that you'd like their snes game too
