Forget Mario and Zelda, I've always considered this the best game on the N64. All it really needed was a custom level creator, this is a game that would be fantastic with mods
>>12874439>all these years later, still get filtered by the drifting truck levelsOtherwise I'd really like Blast Corps.
>>12874439It's a fun game until you're forced to use Backlash. Every other vehicle is either really fun to use or their segment is over so fast you won't mind. Backlash is in its own unique category of sucking ass so hard it takes the game from a 7/10 to a 4/10 by the time you get to Outland Farm.
>>12874460>>12874462I got filtered hard by the dumptruck as a kid and eventually gave up, but I've finally got good using it lately coming back to play this game. It's very satisfying when you finally get good with it. I've made it to space for the first time ever and unlocked all the bonus Planet stages
>in order to prevent the nuke from destroying everything in its path, you must destroy everything in its pathblast corps' story broke me...
>>12874491You don't want a nuke to go off in regularly populated areas. Not just because of the destruction. So you'd obviously want to clear the path for it on its world tour over several continents.Even as a kid I had no problems with the general premise as a background for a game.Let's not talk about things like letting it roll onto a carrier with rolls so its wheels can rotate with itself staying where it is.Flattening everything into the ground with a bunch of giant machines is the much more sensible option....
>>12874439So many good N64 games like this need a remake. Wave Race 64 too.
>>12874439>All it really needed was a custom level creatorAnd a stable framerate. For how god damn zoomed in the camera was for 90% of gameplay, it barely held 30fps. I don't know if the Rare Replay version addressed that or not.>>12874462Backlash is 'fine' until you're going for the platinum times.
pic related and the ocarina of time temple were the only two times i found n64 graphics kino
