ITT: games only you remember
>>12880389I don't remember that game though.
>>12880389Tangoo & UllashongThere was a weird time in Russian publishing history when they went full legal and begun syphoning foreign markets for stuff to release in cheap jewel packages. This is how we got first Sakura Wars in Europe and shit. This game that was some korean cartoon tie-in was among these. It was called Cтaльныe Mcтитeли (Steel Avengers).I still have no idea how to describe the gameplay. A story-driven bubble dragon? And what story? Who da hell knows. But damn, shit was fun, especially when I was a kid. Especially in 2-player mode. This kinda flew under everyone's radars for a good reason, but it was FUN.
Spindizzy Worlds (SNES)
>>12880389no console game is obscure anymore, but this used to be it for me
Tom and Jerry House Trap on PS1 was so good, it's like Spy vs Spy with better execution
>>12880442I had this on SNES (UK)
>>12880389Adventura incognita - terranigma it is from psx eurodemo 42.
>>12880389i actually have one that only i remember. it was a reskin of an old macintosh game called bunny killer. this version was called nazi killer and you killed nazis instead of bunnies. they would scream "mein leben" when they died which i thought was "my land" as a kid. there is no trace of this version of the game whatsoever on the internet and i can only assume this was some homebrew that just happened to be on my friend's dad's macintosh when he bought it used.
>>12880442what an eyesorepixels were a mistake
i have no idea how i wound up playing this thing when i was a child

Terra Incognita is also for PC
>>12880467looks great and kind of familiar. on the Amiga?
Mega Twins was a really great platformer. I've never seen it mentioned
I remember all of these. Goodbye.
>>12881582Not him but it's Kolibri for the sega 32x.
Never see anyone mention:Eternal City OnlineAuto AssaultTabula RasaRubies of Eventide
>>12881587I'm going to play it.
>>12880389Mulan on Game Boy... it's a decent cinematic platformer though, better than the more popular bootleg on the Mega Drive. It falls short of being peak Mulan though, I think that'd be the arcade bootleg Legend of Heroes.Crazy how much potential this IP had for a video game and it's the one film Disney seemed to ignore in video games.
There's so many that I can only barely remember because I played them at my friend's house. There was one where you played as an evil genius and it's not called that. I checked and Evil Genius isn't the game I'm thinking of. The one I played was PC I believe and I think it looked more cartoony. I can't remember if it was a spy or a super hero coming to stop you.
Gubble (PS1/PC)Unironically a pretty good game
The game is called Sniper and I think you only snipe like one guy in the intro mission and that's about it. Russian jank.
>>12881587Reminds me of Spinmaster but Capcom had nothing to do with it. Must be just a similar art style.
>>12882707gubble 2 on pc was my jam. there even was a menu with fan mail sent to the devs for gubble 1. very soulful game and decently hard for kids. some time limits are brutal. >>12882640I hated mulan on gb. I felt the controls worked against the player, but you calling it a cinematic platformer somehow cleared things up for me. Never occured to me this could be one. otoh, i was a kid playing it and only knew my Marios and sonics.
