What's the most mental retro fighting game?
I would say Dong Dong Never Die but its not retroProbably either Clayfighter, Waku Waku 7, Celebrity Deathmatch, Matrimelee, or Timeslaughter
jackie chan fist of fire, stil a solid game
Survival Arts is fucking crazy
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Final Fantasy VIII is the only game that both uses fighting game inputs and also requires that you plan ahead for what your stats will look like 40+ hours into the game in order to maximize damage
>>12882475Naturally
>>12882629That's only for some limit breaks and unfortunately it's poorly balanced so for Zell's limit break you just spam the easiest inputs for max damage. You don't really have to plan ahead either, you just draw/refine and junction up to 100 stack of the best magics for the stat you can get. You can always catch up at most any point in the game if you don't have stocks of good magic to junction.
>>12882629No more than 6. Not that you need to maximize damage in either game or even come close to doing so.
>>12882646That's not a fighting game, it's a beat 'em up.
>>12882475Eternal Champions>>12882646>God HandThe cover art does it no favors. I'm more likely to skip out on it than actually play it. No wonder it never became a franchise.
>>12882715Same shit
>>12882735Retard
Battling Butlers
>>12882497You're getting better!
Probably this
>>12883058I think the thing that surprised me about this game is how good at actually feels to play, it's very underrated as just a good ass fighting game.
