More fixed thematic roles for characters, a more in-depth rendition of the main theme, more puzzling encounters, a bigger focus on the romance of a conflicted hero. V did dial back on some of that, mostly for better, but while it laid ground for the future versions of the customizability we expect fro the franchise, IV was the one that laid the narrative groundwork from my POV.
But I already have it and listen to it and countless other game soundtracks.
