I'm halfway through Unfinished Business in TR I-III Remastered. Wow, the level design is amazing. I was a huge PS1 TR fan but didn't know anything about these expansion packs from Eidos.What's your favorite Tomb Raider game and level? I hate Natla's Mines. Love St Francis Folly.

Maybe even 4 but can't remember. I also had TR1 on Saturn. On just immediate initial thoughts I'd probably choose TR1 as my favorite. Although I am kind of remembering a lot of TR2 levels to be better. Its close but it would have to be between TR1 and TR2. As for levels I am not sure. Venice from 2 is quite good. Caves are a fun and easy level. Actually all of Peru is pretty good from TR1. I found Nevada desert from 3 to be good as well. Although I think 1 and 2 are better games overall than 3 which can get a bit too ridiculous with its level design. All of these games are pretty great though. Very immersive imo. The tank controls, minimal hud and graphics with minimal music really help on the immersion imo.As for 4-6 I'd have to play them to find out.

>>12883492The original is the best. 2 is superior visually and technically, but there's a newness in the first game that can never be recreated. Playing it on Christmas morning, that bear popping out, is a feeling poor zoomies will never be able to experience.

I spent dozens of hours replaying it. Something magical about running around in a realistic 3D world, just exploring, jumping around, shooting enemies, navigating in levels that used height too.
