What do you think about Wario’s Woods?
Toad is trespassing on Wario's private property.
I don't
>>12887479You don't think about Wario’s Woods or you don’t like players that respect women?
>>12887439
>>12887521I don’t think Kirby would ever say that.
>>12887534what do you mean? He's saying it right there in the screenshot

>>12887439I have only ever played it during a single rental period and so it reminds me of that odd little moment in my life. I have no special opinion about the game itself. It seemed fine but I didn't love it. I don't know. It's probably fine. Blocks-in-a-well action puzzle games usually are.
I liked it, but it's been forever since I played it.

>>12887439I used to play it a lot through ZSNES a long time ago. Probably one of the first games where I stopped using savestates.I liked it, but I know I wouldn't make it far if I were to pick it up again. Also, it has great music tracks, as expected of any Wario game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlR1ORkzoK8
>>12887439Based Toad for being mad at that female-worshiping drivel
>>12887439>that angry faceWhy does Toad hate respecting women?
I remember thinking it was a good idea ruined by the fundamental of the win condition. It's a puzzle versus game where point goes to the first person to clear the board, not first person to lose / fill their board. It made the matches feel really short and less tense than something that follows conventions of games like Tetris where the pressure is more directly imposed by the board and the opponent rather than almost purely based around which of the 2 of you can execute a solve/solution faster.Other than that core problem I think it looked cool and played well with fun mechanics. Just that rule made it unplayable / not fun for me compared to other puzzle games like Tetris Battle Gaiden or Puyo Puyo. I rarely ever played WW but I played those others a lot.
>>12887846You're probably right, but I've never even found another person willing to play Wario's Woods with me so it's always been a single player experience in my case. Did it ever even have any sort of community? There are so many cool puzzle games that hardly anybody plays.
