PS2 or Xbox version? It doesn't seem like the differences have been documented.

The Xbox version is interesting considering it was never released in Japan, and it's the only Castlevania game for the console since Lament of Innocence was only on the PS2.

Xbox version seems to look and run slightly better but has some visual bugs at the top and bottom of the screen sometimes.
PS2 version has an exclusive item you get automatically by having a Lament of Innocence save file.

This game would benefit a ton from a recomp because the mechanics are very solid but the level design is ass. So if you someone modded better levels it would be a legit great game

It's 60fps on PS2 as well.
