Has the ps2 version been ported to pc as well? I would imagine it would be easier.
>>12887842as a kid i never finished and dropped it out of boredom. so i guess that translates to a 9 or something
>>12887842Man it occurs to me that Claudechads can add the cut colossi.
the game is designed for low iq people to figure it out. you use smart methods that anyone with iq above room temperature would think of and the game punishes you, the colossi don't respond to how a smart person would think they would. you have to be very low iq and primitive minded to imagine the colossi responding the way they've programmed to. basically beating the game without a guide is about being dumb enough to follow the and only scripted path the developers demanded you to go on, instead of being a creative inventive person who actually thinks of his own solutions.
>>12887852We'll see. I have my doubts. Maybe when the game is decompiled which it is nowhere near close to being
One existing thread already not enough?
>>12887842When's the recomp for this one coming
>>12887842As a sequel to Ico, it's like a 2/10.Being more objective, it's probably like a 5/10 or a 6/10, depending on if you've had the ending spoiled for you.The sheer scale of the game and that they were able to accomplish it with the PS2's processing power is very impressive. But the actual gameplay is just empty traveling time or boring handholdy puzzles disguised as bossfights.I dropped it rather early; maybe it improves afterwards.
8.8
>>12887842I played this with cheat engine and I'm okay with that 8/10
9+
>>1288784210/10. in the words of a journo ''no words to describe the feeling of playing this game'' and is kind my opinion as well does everyting right
>>12889148The whole thing is empty. That said I don't think putting puzzles or enemies in between the boss fights would've made it better. The barreness is intentional
>>12887842There's no game that makes the tendies seethe more than this oneEven FF7, the game that stole FF from Nintedo, they don't seethe nearly as much about
9/10. not perfect but the experience is greater than the sum of its parts.
Twilight Princess is better btw
>>12892291Better at sucking
10/10 its alright
>>12887842I don't know if Nintendo fans realize this, but Breath of the Wild was inspired by this game. Every single enemy from that game was taken almost directly from this game. The giant flying snake, the giant quadrupedal beast, even some of the smaller enemies are from the cut colossi like the Devil. Breath of the Wild is objectively a better game though, and it's a "what if" reimagining of SotC.
>>12887852>>12888831I don't know which makes me more upset, the fact that they cut all the coolest looking colossi with the most interesting mechanics, or the fact that I will probably have to wait until the early 2030s for people to at least try to model then mod in the missing colossi to a decomp. It seems like they were so close to finishing most of them and then gave up right at the end and didn't even bother to ask bluepoint to fix it years later.
>>12887842no
>>12893343fuck you're right
