Bioware is dead. What are your favorite retro Bioshart games?
>>12890364Only really played KotOR. I had a good time with it, though having seen both Light and Dark Side paths, I don't really see myself playing it again.
>>12890364None, they were never good and are the main culprits behind the date sim faggotry of wrpgs
Statement: KOTOR
>>12890364Neverwinter Nights but only as a foundation and not as an actual game
Jade Empire
>>12890364You posted it.
Kotor rtwp combat is the closest to rtwp being not shit. Jade empire was chinksect kinoed. Neverwinter nights is western rpg maker and better than rpg maker if you ignore the shit bioware social network freaks made.>>12890393That's pools of radiance beltever
I played KOTOR, gonna play NWN sooner or later too. NWN still has a healthy community cranking out games.
>>12891272it's still the only RTWP that I played all the way through unless you count Fallout (one party member) or Torment (shit gameplay but kept playing for the story)I played BG2 but that game is aimless as fuck. There's a ton of content but I think it's pretty overrated
>>12891315Forgot to mention I dropped BG2.
>>12890364>Bioware is deadand that's a good thing
>>12891897no one claimed otherwise
>>12891315Fallout is not RTWP (real time with pause).
>>12891315>I played BG2 but that game is aimless as fuck. BG2 suffers badly from branching sidequest-itis. Also, a sidequest should be solvable in the same chapter, at best, or the chapter right after, at worst. The dryad acorns you get in the starting dungeon only get used somewhere in chapter 3, IIRC. That's bad gameflow design.
>>12892632It's not? What is VATS?
>>12892660Selecting body parts. Fallout 3 and nv vats is just straight up real time even if it doesn't look like it. F4 is slowdown while 76 is blink and you'll miss it.
