It possibly could have been fine if it was just say Sonic and Tails and then give Sonic Knuckle's abilities. Looks beautiful on PC but just not fun to play.

Why is there no fix hack for Sonic Heroes at this point? Literally just make the death penalties less harsh and the game will be completely fine. It feels like shit as-is because it's way too easy to fall into a pit, and when you do all your characters are reset to level 1 and your score set to 0.

I developed Stockholm syndrome for heroes and 100% it a few years ago. Honestly the controls are not bad as long you don't have damaged motor skills. Once you figure out rails and how movement works in relation to the camera you're good to go; just don't be a spaz and run off the edge.
I thought it was weird that Team Rose was the "easy mode" of the game, but then are the third team option in the menu, meaning most people will have played Team Dark, the "hard mode" before them.
