>>3977348I got like 15 hours through Xenosaga. No offence but it is an awful game. It is an incredibly slow, ugly (and this isn't a "oh it's a 20 year old game" thing, it was ugly in 2002 when it came out), unfun, and tedious game that feels like it was shipped out half a year before it should have with how unfinished every single aspect of it feels like.

Like i still think XS1 has a pretty cool system all things considered, and XS2 main fault is that they completely forgot about aoe attacks so mob fights are a ballbusting drag, but boss fights can be cool (if you make peace with having to waste the first few turns just boosting, which yeah could be done better)

Damn I was wondering about all the rushed disc 2 comments and now im finally here. They really wasted all their dev time making shit tournament arcs for disc 1 instead of focusing on the actual story which is in disc 2
