NPC Dreams has a really interesting mechanic about how Break Skill work. You need to be under 25 and later 35 TP to use them, you can't spam break. Unga is for later.It's also helped by the fact that there's a lot of skills that cost 10 or below TP that doesn't cost turns, so it's not actually that difficult to manage.And then you find Nurse Rhyme items.It's a small way to make the combat feel different than Black Souls, without being obnoxious.Now if they could be less jewish with the Wisdoms and Dreams.
