I got a significant pc upgrade! I'm wondering if I should go from LE Skyrim to SE. If the headache of trying to manually search and re-download my some 200 mods (if they even exist SE) is worth it?I'd like to preserve the mod list as much as possible. There are some obscure ones I doubt have SE versions. Will my LE saves be stable if I'm unable to port a few? Rn I'm trying to see if I can transfer the mods, NMM managed, to Vortex but I think it needs to be done 1 by 1

You should use this as an opportunity to reset and reduce your mod list to as short as possible. Less is more. I can almost guarantee that you couldn’t tell me 75% of your list or why it’s important. You can also take this opportunity to start tinkering in the construction set and see how the game works under the hood. Make a few simple mods for minor tweaks you want but can’t find exactly what you’re looking for.

>>3986203Porting between versions is not straight forward, either way, I'd drop LE entirely. SE/AE have so many options available at this point. If I were you, I'd just get AE, install wabbajack and install a new curated modlist. AURORA is good if you just want graphics and bugfixing pic related is my old modlist that used it as base.I've also personally been using Lorerim recently, since I deleted my own modlist due to how unstable it got and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
