>>3988574I just finished, if we count rogue MD stuff, Shiren the Wanderer on SFC, the main 30 floor dungeon. The side stuff looks interesting to me but I can do that another time. Great game. I was playing Siralim Ultimate today for like 9 hours and it's cool, but I've been having a braindead spam murder of crows strat with like one attacking monster for single target for about half of that. Hand's a bit sore from lazily mashing the E key. I'm trying to figure out what I want to play next. I could jump into another Wizardry game, I could jump into some old PC stuff like Zeliard or maybe just something more traditional, idk. Almost too many choices, ya know? I really wanna play Dragon Quest IX but I'm a little worried I'm missing out without at least one friend to go through it with.
>>3988574i'm playing persona 5 royal for like the 10th time, but i've modded the current playthrough. some of the unused skills and traits seemed interesting, so i'm trying them out to see if they would fit in well or feel out of place. i've added back in social link/confidant skill acquisitions for (most) party members, as in persona 4 golden as well, although akechi's seems impossible unfortunately. i've spent weeks planning this out, theorycrafting it, testing the unused skills and traits to see if they work properly (they do), and balancing it. i got so tired of it and replaying the same dungeons over and over again, i needed a break to try to approach it not as if i was testing it, but as if i was trying to have fun with it as a new run.it's working so far and it's different enough, yet familiar enough. i'm quite happy with it so far. i still need to see if sumire joining the party early fucks with everything or not.

Just finished up a DQ8 playthrough, struggling to figure out what next. DQ8 remains fucking stellar, even if it's easy. This is actually the first time I've ever gotten all the minimedals in a DQ game, wasn't really worth it. Maybe I'll stick with the Retro gimmick and give Mana Khemia another shot.
