They just own the IPs but most of the talent behind the good games is long gone and even the business models of both companies are completely different. People should understand that games, like movies, are a collaborative form of cultural expression, they are made by people, by individuals working together. Some combinations work and some don´t but most importantly people are not interchangeable no matter how much suits wish them to be.
