>>3994777No. The fact that they separated the game in 3 parts is just for moneymaxxing and it ruins the climax that the OG was able to deliver. To not mention that now leveling the characters is just a fetish, for SE releases cheat menus in order to let the player "enjoy" their retcon story, without even the effort on grinding a little bit.

>>3994777I dont think it NEEDED to be like that, but Kitase stated that they wanted it to have graphics like AC so...Also once you start to think about how to do it, things just pile up. How do you do the world map? all the things that happen in midgar? you can rush it like the OG, you need worldbuilding. Also they wanted to innovate with the combat so theres more manpower there. Keep stacking and you have a series of games.
