Conquistador and Vikings was manageable with the mercenaries but Rome was atrocious when it came to immersion, having to take the retarded Californian dream team along with you soured it, especially when the option of having your centurions was already there for some missions. How are they going to make this stand out? I highly doubt they'll let you chud out and be some Protestant colonialist with Walter Raleigh and Francis Drake turning up alongside you so will they actually just follow Shogun but with some wacky hijinks along the way? It could be a very interesting setting to explore but I just do not trust these devs to do that well.
