Anyways they're remaking Persona 4 because Persona 3 sold well and Persona 4 is the same sort of game as 3. 1 and both 2s might as well be a different series. They effectively are already.

The problem with doing loads of hype marketing for a remake is I already own Persona 4. They got me hyped to go through it again, so why would I wait until next year when I can just plug my PS2 in? Just beat Shadow Yukiko. Game's still great, wish the PS2 version had JP voices like Golden did, but Golden's UI looks like shit on a TV and my Vita has such bad burn in it's unusable now.

Remake looks great. Unlike P3R it seems to use P5R as a baseline for its combat and adding new features. P3R felt worse than even vanilla P5. Completely bizarre choice for a remake.
