Cyberpunk 2077 gave me feels
>three lifepaths, three pre-canned faces, three endings (more or less)Really makes u think
>>4004594there's like 10 endings dude
>>4004595Many are minor variations.>Corpo path, corpo ending>Nomad path, nomad ending>Street kid path, helicopter assault endingThere’s a few other permutations, like doing the helicopter assault as Johnny, and the final choice at the end, and there’s always the “blow your own head off” option, but broadly speaking there’s three main paths to get to the end that align with the three lifepaths (what little didn’t get cut of them anyway)
>>4004593use case for feelings?
>>4004593>muh feelsthe Bladerunner games were more emo.
>>4004827>the Bladerunner games were more emo*BLAM*
>>4004599>Street kid path, helicopter assault endingJust walking into main doors is Johnny ending.
>>4005384You’re right. Haven’t done the Johnny version since the game came out and misremembered
>>4004593The main story picked up at the end, but the dlc was kino all the way through.great music too
>>4004593Never fade away
>>4005396The first person on this board to admit they were wrong
>>4005548i honestly cried a bit reading that.
>>4005548>The first person on this board to admit they were wrongBe the change you want to see in the shithole.I can recall acknowledging that I was factually incorrect on this board at least two or three times over the years. I walk through the threads with a lantern, looking for an honest anon.
Is it worth the cost of admission on sale? Never played it, but I have a 3070
>>4005932>Is it worth the cost of admission on sale?Yes. It’s not the game they promised during development, but if you accept it for what it is, rather than the game we were expecting, it’s fun.>Never played it, but I have a 3070You should be OK. Turn raytracing on for five minutes to ooh and aah and then leave it off for better FPS.
>>4005934I knew it was going to be shit thanks to my shit sense, but if it's a genuinely enjoyable trip now then I don't mind.
>>4005932Hell yeah it's worth it
>>4005934>it’s fun.play Syndicate FPS for less buggy streamlined cyberpunking.play Shadowrun for Genesis for more /tg/-like gameplay... and magic elves and a trollbro.

>>4005952I can get it off ggn I've just been too lazy to fuck with it.
>>4005958>ggnyou mean gog-games? rutracker has a portable version no need to waste time with the gog installer
>>4004593Pistols feel like shit to fire. Even Starfield had better firing animationsBut it can be a fun game albeit miserable and not very rpg as one would expect
>>4004599There is nomad, arasaka, rogue, johnny, suicide, and then the two endings from PL.
>>4004593btw Cyberpunk 2 anime is announced...
>>4009270looks even more derivative and gay
>>4009256Correct. Leaving aside the expansion endings, those are the ones I named, with the Johnny path being a modified variant of the Rogue ending.
>>4009270>We have Astolfo at home
>>4009602that's a real biowoman. or so i assume because i am not gay.
>>4004593Same.>https://youtu.be/kmt8WmTenVE>>4005958That was gog-games by the way.>>4006000A private tracker it seems.
>>4009270A pleasant surprise. The first one was really good.
>>4010557>A private tracker it seems.all you need is to register, no email verification requiredso called semi-private
>>4005932I liked it way more than I thought I would. I'm desperate to play something similar but nothing else is really scratching the itch.
>>4005934The only thing(s) people were "expecting" that I agree with that could count as "promised" was a story with more branching dialogue and more developed lifepaths. Most things people whine about are minor and almost certainly wouldn't have changed the gameplay that much. The one thing that really pisses me off about the outrage that people had over this game is that it turned off investors and severely limited interest in continuing development on it. We probably would have got a few more expansions, and an online component if people didn't bitch and moan about a few bugs that arguably had no impact on the game. I played through it twice at launch and never encountered a game/quest breaking bug, or dozens of flying cars, or infinite spawning police, and whatever else people cried about. At worst, I had a some unlootable bodies, pedestrians freaking out and causing accidents, and some bugged street encounters that turned the police on me.And I actually like pre2.0 Cyberpunk more than what we have now. A lot of the interactables are scaled to stats/levels now, and that's kind of bullshit. I didn't care about the wardrobe shit either, I just wore whatever I wanted and took the defense hit as a challenge.
>>4014523>people didn't bitch and moan about a few bugs that arguably had no impact on the gamegame no worky!playstation offer a refund! never befo seen!it was that bad, I'm glad CDPR got a backlash but they also sold way too many copies
>>4014650Yeah, releasing on last gen was also a retarded mistake, but the game not being able to run properly isn't really the same thing as one that just runs like shit. The hardware simply could not support the game and it should havenever released on it.
>>4014523>The only thing(s) people were "expecting" that I agree with that could count as "promised" was a story with more branching dialogue and more developed lifepathsThe RPG elements. The lifepaths, the classes (reduced to mere clothing sets in the final game), more choices to roleplay something other than 'streetkid merc solo'. In their own marketing materials, before release they stopped calling it an RPG and started calling it action-adventure. Somewhere along the way, much of the initial vision withered away, and we got something like a cinematic action-adventure looter shooter GTA clone with light RPG elements. That's what I meant by that it wasn't the game they started developing, but it can still be fun if you accept it for what it is.>if people didn't bitch and moan about a few bugs that arguably had no impact on the game. I played through it twice at launch and never encountered a game/quest breaking bugI played it once at launch on a good PC, and it was playable and not unusually buggy. I think a lot of the bitching was from consoles.>dozens of flying carsThe car is buggier now, imo. Like 25% of the time you call it it lands upside down for me.>or infinite spawning policeThis was definitely a thing, it was pretty crazy. You could be standing on the roof of a skyscraper with no way up and cops would spawn right behind you.>And I actually like pre2.0 Cyberpunk more than what we have nowIt's a mixed bag imo, some good some bad. The new level scaling is fucking retarded, and they also reduced build diversity by consolidating and shoehorning everything together. And by taking stats from clothing and putting it on cyberware, heavily nerfed "no chrome" runs. But some of the changes were good, the grinding treadmill for loot was fucking stupid at launch, and some things like it taking thousands of clicks to craft a single legendary crafting component out of basic ones were just retarded, like no dev had ever actually tried it or thought about it.
>>4014686everyone forgot about it, gamers are more forgiving than liberal women forgiving their rapists, smts (shaking my titanium skull)
>>4014722What benefit would unforgiveness have when it comes to games?
>>4014732none, as gamers are unable to boycott productsCoD pre-order numbers etc etc
>>4014774I’ve been boycotting Creative Assembly since Empire: Total WarI’ve been boycotting EA since Battlefield 5I’ve been boycotting Larian since BG3 (been pretty easy to do desu)
>>4014779What games have you been forced to pass up so far?
>>4014779I pirate noncetendo games just to appear in statistics like 10 decadecillion dollars lost to piracy>larianonly good larian game was divinity 2, 2009 game not the turn based oneI doubt they need the money, but you did buy mount and blade at 50% off right?
>>4004593Feels good.
>>4016076didn't see you at the car meetup?
>>4016113Things happened and I got sidetracked a bit.
i need to get back to finishing my game at some point. been doing sort of a completionist game. most of the gigs and ncpd events are done, some of the story. i still havent done PL either. i heard its pretty good.
>>4016076They should be selling models of these.
>>4004593>feelsPhone Jackie. I know he's dead. Call him anyway.
>>4010868ME trilogy, don't listen to the haters just play the legendary edition its usually 5 bucks on steamGoated companions in that game.DA1 is dope too.
>>4017247>legendary editionInferior.
>>4017340Elaborate.
>>4016505>ncpd eventsAre those worth bothering with? I always just sped right past them.
>>4017347Most of them are just exp and loot, but some of them have iconics or schematics for one, you get shards for extra skill exp, sometimes some other high quality items.
>>4017484But do they lead to any story bits or unique quests?
>>4017491I did all of them in some older version and only Regina cyber psycho quest was done by doing them. Can't remember any other so I skipped it on my subsequent playthrough.
>>4017491There are some "hidden" or extra missions you can get from some of the ncpd's, but its nothing related to the story really.
>>4017347>I always just sped right past them. But anon, criminals are terrorizing the innocent citizens of night city! Don’t you want to stop and help those poor people?
>>4017622Are we sure? I had an impression that a quest may lead you to ncpd place, so I can see that if you first went to ncpd it would trigger that quest but is there any quest you can miss if you don't do them?
