I know there's like only 3 other people excited for this, but it's out on Switch today

I've been meaning to get into this series. Gonna start with the ps2 entry first, maybe. Kinda wish the series was called cardcept. I think that fits better.
>>4018499I would be oen of them. But it's not really an RPG
>>4018499I heard about this game but know very little about it since it is the first time it is released in English as far as I know.
>>4018833Culdcept Revolt was released for the 3ds.Lots of content both for main story and challenges. Story is pretty anime to the point it goes full retard, which ends up kinda hilarious. The DS entry was fan translated, which is more basic in most regards
>>4018621they're all pretty much the same game with slight tweaks that give the flavor, so go with whatever floats your boat. I do like 2's looks myself.I always called culdadcept like cul de sac >>4018853the DS is the only one I never sunk my teeth into, is it actually faster or more or less simpler? I'm am enjoying Begins being a touch shorter and having 2x built in
shills just can't fucking help themselvesno one fucking cares
>>4019025The maps are a bit simpler + smaller cardbool. It's like playing older years/rulesets of a TCG, really
I'm interested but I'm not sure I'm £45 interested. Sell me on it OP.
>>4019025Thank you for the advice. The ds one and ps2 ones seem to be a good starting point, then.
not a big fan of the art style. hopefully it's good, I'd like to play this on PC
>>4019217People always call it >Monopoly x Magic the GatheringWhich makes sense - you move around like Monopoly, buy up properties, but the property values are the monster cards from your deck. As you can expect, it's got a shitton of RNG, but provides more open information than you'd expect.Definitely not for everyone, I'd definitely emulate it or one of the earlier titles first to see if you like it first. They put out a demo for the port of the 1st one instead of this one for some bizarre reason. Worse, said port is just an emulator wrapper so to vim's I would go. >>4019380I'm surprised the art has grown on me, perhaps because I found out it was the Mana dev
not an rpg
