>>4024911an interesting idea that immediately sold out for cash
>>4024911Numbers go up grindan gaems with very little strategy, but still manage to be funNepnep re;birth 1 is solid but suffers a bit from the 3 party member limit and a steep power curveRe;birth 2 has better balance than 1, but the split chapter structure makes unlocking plans a pain in the ass, and a bunch of postgame stuff is locked to specific early chaptersRe;birth 3 has the best party variety, but the SP system sucks and the postgame is excessively grindyNepnep VII has the most strategic combat but has no makers, the battle formulae are fucked beyond repair and a bunch of the postgame is mathematically impossibleI am not interested in Nepnep: Burqa edition or any of the other real-time games
>>4024911its cute n funny. never played them because most of them were made for consoles.
>>4024911pedo shit for pedos
>>4024911Enjoyable, but not enjoyable enough to keep my interest for a whole playthrough.
>>4024911As a rule, it's not very good, but I still enjoyed several entries. It's a shame the developers seemed to give up on the formula they had been using (and on the main-line series in general) after V-II. They had been steadily improving up to that point, and after V-II and Fairy Fencer F I thought they might have it in them to start making some genuinely decent RPGs.
>>4026991How is Fairy Fencer? I feel like I started that game half a dozen times. Always thought it seemed decent, but just never cared enough to make any headway.
>>4024911Mediocre as fuck, low budget, lazy, it even reuses dungeon layouts for what should be a different dungeon 1:1.
>>4024911tanaka rie/10
>>4027146It's pretty mediocre overall, which I don't mean as an insult. Unlike most of Compile Heart's games, it manages to be an average JRPG rather than a weak one propped up with good character designs, voice acting, fanservice, etc. The mechanics are reasonably engaging on hard mode, the plot is actually decent when it gets going, and it has some likable characters. If you've only played the very beginning, it does improve quite a bit from that point. It does still have a lot of CH's usual flaws, though, in that it's generally unpolished and low-budget/lazy. As with the Neptunia games, it is absolutely shameless with its constant reuse of assets.
