Every thread about Tamriel Rebuilt looks more or less the same, that is>OP in the image is a map>some very high but incredibly unspecific praiseAnd then the thread either dies or continues to bump limit. What I'm confused about is... has anyone actually played this shit?It seems borderline astroturfed but i've seen this threads for like 10 years so it can't be that. Yet I never see anyone discuss anything specific, like a questline they're really fond of. Compare this to how people discuss Skyrim, most threads would zone in on a particular quest/scenario and ask what the right choice was or what the designers were thinking. This is generally how RPGs are discussed (fallout new vegas also comes to mind, rarely do you see a thread that's just "man this game is so fire!!", it's more often something like "was siding with ceasar the best choice after all?" or some shit) and honestly, how media is discussed in general (when discussing a TV show, people will usually discuss episodes or arcs separately).I have yet to see anyone on /v/ or /vrpg/ ever discuss any content of this mod, just the mod's existance in a vacuum. What the fuck even is this? People talk about how the map is big, uh, morrowind terrain is just a ground texture and deformation, maybe some copy-paste vegitation, surely they mean there's content to that map right? So how come said content (quests) is never mentioned or praised? And I mean... are the quests that they added like the quests in vanilla? Because most of those were just "go to this cave and kill bandits" or "collect 10 mushrooms" types...
>>4035242You know you kinda fucked it up during the last part. Makes it obvious you never played the game.
>>4035242People have played TR content yes.
>>4035242>and then the thread either dies or continues to bump limit. Many such cases.
It's one of those mass hysteria scenarios where people delude themselves into thinking morrowind was good, and from there it must mean more morrowind ---> betterbut nobody has nostaliga for the new content so nobody ever talks about it because that'd mean playing morrowind instead of circlejerking case and point: >>4035262 name a morrowind quest that you really liked
>>4035279Morrowind had better and more in depth writing than every other TES and gameplay that sucks only slightly more than other TES games.
>>4035281I asked you to name a morrowind quest you really liked, not to virtue signal that you're oh so much better and smarter than those filthy skyrim boogeyman.name a morrowind quest that you really liked
>>4035279>name a morrowind quest that you really likedMystery of the DwarvesPilgrimage of the Seven Graces
>>4035283>waaahh don't reply to me unless you're the person I specifically quotedNice going, retardo.
>>4035284you'll notice there's no decision to be made in either of those, just a linear set of "talk to x"
>>4035291So? You didn't ask "name a Morrowind quest that brilliantly illustrates the capacity for player choice.">linearMystery of the Dwarves is as far from linear as you can get. You describing it as such makes you retarded, illiterate, or both.
>>4035291You'll also notice he didn't elaborate on his choices. He pulled his choices somewhat arbitrarily from the wiki/reddit and isn't able to provide an account of his experiance.
>>4035313>y-you must have got those from the wiki, there's no way anyone actually played the gameNice job moving those goalposts all by yourself. Better luck next time, you illiterate faggot.
>>4035298>Mystery of the Dwarves is as far from linear as you can get.huh?in what way?
>>403524213 posts and not a single person has yet mentioned a single piece of content from this moddoes that answer your question OP?>It seems borderline astroturfed this wesbite is THE easiest website to shill on, most actual developers don't bother but if you're a team of loosly coordinated discord trannies, manpower isn't an issue since they do it for free.
>>4035321Here, this should help.>www.google.com/search?q=define+%22linear%22
>>4035325Have you tried forming a coherent thought?
>>4035326Have you tried learning how to understand basic English? Or actually reading the posts you're responding to instead of just mindlessly mashing keys and hitting 'post'? It would do wonders.
>>4035283I like the one where you collect taxes and that one farmer's like "I don't have 50 gold. you can take this guar I guess" and you ask him about "guar" and he's like "yeah here take my guar. corky! this dude's your master now." and corky the guar becomes your followerthe naked nord is also pretty good
>>4035323>>4035279jesus you really are a dumb nigger
While the quests seemed better, I couldnt make myself play it for some reason. Its kinda discord tranny energy, the city i went toh ad like 70 fucking buildings and most of them were obviously paytreon OCs
>>4035337>the naked nord is also pretty goodAnon, there's like three or four different naked nords
I like Morrowind. I played it back in the day when it came out. I'm still fond of it, and still enjoy playing it occasionally, partly because I like the game, and partly due to nostalgia. If I feel like playing Morrowind again (every five years or so), I'll just play Morrowind. I've never had any desire for modder fan fiction that's sort of like Morrowind.
>>4035860i was specifically thinking of the one where you come across the he said/she said situation but they're all good times
