This is a pedophile stupid game btw, the "dev" just put hisbown fetoshes in the game, "but the lore is peak" the lore is cringe, this don't goes beyond a grimdarkslop, the characters are literally taked from public domain, the worldbulding is a generic copy from dark souls dark fantasy, the mythology are form the cthulhu mythso that is also in public domain and the edge ternager that made this game mentiosn real serial killers in the game just to looks badass but is just cringe and stupid. The artstyle is literaly bad, the hub is ugly, the characters has design thays comes from a hentai haren anime, the draws have so many problen, wrong anatomy, bad proportion, bad perpsective, I am a real artist and i can say that the draws of this game is really bad
>>4036621It's Alice>>4036664TLDR, sum it up in 5 words or less.

>>4035827Not OP, but beyond the subpar way in which Otaku Plan handled the whole patch ordeal, the Steam version is objectively better than the English DLSite version.Uncensored CGs, polished text in multiple events. The shitty font can be dealt with on the user's end as well.

I've had such a bizarre encounter this dream involving Mabel.to give a quick rundown>became somewhat lucid in a dream but had no control over it so i explore and met up with a few characters, some i had the feeling I've met before in in previous dreams >shit happens and a child is mauled and dying>try rescuing the child with the others only for it to die>got guilty enough over the incident that i began begging the others to "wake me up if they find me dreaming".>they all seem to have gone mad and are ignoring methen at the very end, Mabel appears and it goes as such, taken from my journal:>that was until Mabel appeared from out of my vision, dragged me into an embrace from my right side, and said "i agree." >for the short moment i witnessed her, I could notice how beautiful she was. though she was in a chicken scratch art-style, that just made her all the more dazzling in my eyes.>and then IMMEDIATELY AFTER, i woke up to the sounds of some dog barking outside. as if the timing was staged and intentional through some unknown scheme.>every dream where a BS character has appeared always takes a turn for the weirdest or most bizarre, that i swear. especially so are the few dreams I've had this year where i became lucid, even if partially.this Isn't the first time I've encountered such "coincidence", if I can even call it that. but i still simply don't know how to process such encounters.

>>4040012the Christmas hat is a reference to the fact that DRH will release on Christmas
>>4040207It's either Christmas or Halloween.
>>4035796I hope EMMM doesn't forget the roots and doesn't abandon the Dark Souls part of Black Soulsassuming we get anything after red's game.
>>4040148Im pretty sure hes rich enough where he can hire composers to make custom music for him
>>4040256BS3 will be based on Elden Ring, I'm assuming.Maybe have the Spirit Ash system be replaced with summoning our Heroines again
>>4040278I'm expecting it to be based on DeS/DS3 with Grimm visiting different gardens separately from a central hub.
>>4040278>elden ring is 4.5 years oldanyway, way back then an anon posted that they saw EMMM say that BS3 will have ER references.
Something I once discovered while messing around is that if you go out of your way to not enter the Library the regular way you can still access it the long way around from Queensland. I did this on a cycle obviously and it's not that hard, but I do wonder if it's at all possible on a fresh save. It's functionally only two bosses you need to deal with and FW shouldn't be too hard with summons but I don't know if the QoTT is doable SL1 with no upgrades and limited resources.
>>4040314I suppose technically you do get to use coloured souls but I don't know if you get enough to make a meaningful difference. You can probably get the Snake Blood though which might be enough. Now I'm actually tempted to try this.
>>4040314oh yeah I remember doing that once on a loop for no reason. was a bit disappointed over no unique dialogue
>>4040256well BS2 was already more based on Bloodborn than Dark Souls
>>4041232BS1 was based on Demon's SoulsBS2 was based on Bloodborne
>>4041233BS3 will either be sekiro or elden ring or armored core

>>4041232what were the bloodborne elements in the game
>>4041545It would be Jeanne because Jeanne is my wife.
>>4040148It doesn't have the same oomph and chiptunes sound out of place, unless it will be used for some very specific encounter.
>>4040275Hell I can bet he could easily find people willing to do it for free.
>>4040314>I don't know if the QoTT is doable SL1 with no upgrades and limited resources. That's where I gave up and just leveled up on my very first playthrough.
I'm still at odds with that Mabel encounter on my dream last night, as i had hardly slept this dreamless night.and getting a black cat crossing the street just outside my rental earlier today doesn't help either. I swear there's forces beyond us toying with our fates in ways so subtle we can hardly recognize it.and if I'm getting recognition by something far beyond me, then that is a worrying prospect.
>>4040012Game became too mainstream. He’s rich now so he can afford to be lazy. Thank the vtumor streamers and youtube commentators
>>4041578The literal Bloodborne class and weaponThe break mechanic being based on BB gun parriesThe CNG being literally the start of BB's DLC SEN working similarly to Insight (but actually done well)A bunch of other stuff I can't be bothered to think of now
>>4041781>The CNG being literally the start of BB's DLC*the midway part of it / end portion of what would have been DLC1 had they been split; but on that note alsoThe Crash Chamber is Ludwig's arena and Vorpal is a Ludwig stand-in
>>4041578The entire plot is based on Bloodborne, dude...
>>4041789The closest BS is to BB plotwise is Blackwell's and Florence's subplot with Yig's blood. Both games just draw from the same source, Lovecraft.
>>4041233I remember experiencing more DS2 references than anything else in BS1
>>4039608>BS2 already drove me half-mad with its web of references and lore>spend days, weeks, months looking up new things about it>finally pick up the reading list>leads me to rediscover my love for reading and pick up literature again>get to Pynch>feel myself growing more and more paranoid with each passing page to the point I start feeling physically unwell, feverish and actually shivering>still thinking about it months laterThis game already felt like crack to me, and Tommy feels like injecting crystal meth straight into my arteries. Thanks for reading my blog.
>>4041944Black Souls 2 RAPED me

>>4041960>so dad there this point where Grimm rape this little girl who just came out of this Egg and it really important for the plot I assure you
>>4041989OOPS!
>>4041989>Continue son, I'm all ears
>>4041960Did you told him about Bill?
>>4041807No, I mean the whole "Outer gods want to have kids" thing is also very much Bloodborne. Everyone going insane at a certain point in the game is also similar to Bloodborne's Blood Moon.
>>4041960>>4041989Reminds me of when I told my little sister about the plot to Black Souls and MGQ
>>4042037For BB's Outer Gods having children is the goal. For BS's Outer Gods their offspring are pawns they want to use to do something else.Comparing the birdening to the Blood Moon is also a bit of a stretch.
>>4042104I'm pretty sure EMMM intended it to be similar. Everyone in Bloodborne goes insane once you kill Rom, though BS gives more of a gut punch since you actually care about more of them.
>>4042137Ox Ward is a lot more Byrgenwerth than either one of them is Miskatonic, too.
Does anyone know what plugin EMMM used in BS1/2 to get his twirly battle backgrounds that change appearance and color based on which area the player's in?
>>4042645that's just battle with no battle background
>>4041944I've felt similarly about the game. Mind sharing your reading list?
>>4042776I was referring to this reading list. If you meant my personal recommendations, then apart from the usual /lit/-approved reads I greatly enjoyed:>The Manuscript Found in Saragossa>Pierre; or, the Ambiguities>Confidence-Man: His Masquerade>Against Nature>Berlin Alexanderplatz>Doctor Faustus by Thomas Mann
>>4042779Should add Don Quixote to the list
>>4042779I wonder if we should throw in Fate since the Old King seems to be based on Saber.

Who are the knight order mentioned in the Rabbit Hole? Are they connected to anything or just there for as fluff text? Is the guard in the mental ward last of them? He seems to be the only real human there.
>>4043899They're an early example of a plot point that becomes more clear once you're deeper into the game and fully clear once you reach the final area. I think the bookshelf texts in the Ward + some of the flame memories + Edith & Jack's description in the Chaos Dungeon is enough to start piecing it together.

>>4046543Maymay had a hand in making sure Mary would survive and escape from Wonderland at the end of BS2 because she's necessary to actually save the universe and a timeline where she dies is one where Azathoth wakes up.The reason Lindamea managed to escape Elysium even though Hein failed to is that Baphomet sent them away in advance with the child she had with Grimm to make sure it would survive.Red and her futa friend were students at Miskatonic U before being snatched by Mary.TCO will be unfucked in the head in BS3.

Damn when did black souls get a wikipedia page?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Souls_(video_game_series)
I'm still thinking about that dream i had with Mabel (i might have a problem), so while I posted Alice, I decided to play around with dates as to see if i can get some kind of encounter similar to what i have witnessed.I noticed that 10/10/26 would add up to 10 10 10 (2 + 2 +0 + 6 = 10 after all), and looked up the moon phase on that day.disappointed, i decided to check when the full moon phase occurs at October, and got this:>Monday, Oct. 26 — 12:12 a.m. at EDT time, and it's a Hunter’s Moonquite curious isn't it? and by messing with the number 26, you can get 2 x 6 which is 12.Fascinating, isn't it? There must be something i can do to take advantage of this rare occurrence, one as rare as the planets aligning.but until then, all i can do now is write her a beautiful poem, one befitting for a girl of nihility such as Mabel.I don't know why, but this singular event has dragged me down an ever so strange rabbit hole. but the more I look into it, the more certain that I'm not mad. I'm not mad, right?btw this drawing's really cute, they're like two sisters exchanging clothes.
>>4046764You should get into numerology and gematria, in short, nothing is a coincidence.
>>4046765I've figured so. given i keep getting angel numbers left right at every nook cranny and glance at the clock for the past dozen years. even my moon encounter way back then had a lot of 12s and weird numerology.Alice, my mental health might be a little concerning...
>>4046768That's funny, for me the number that follows me everywhere is 11.
>>404677012 is a sacred number associated with a lot of mythologies theologies and even in secret societies as well as nature (12 lunations in a solar year). and 11 is a master number, alongside 22 and ( ( ( 33 ) ) ), so better be cautious around vans with out-of place masonry symbols.ah, its useless, its all useless. we're all nothing more than pawns at the mercy of the great/outer gods...

>>4046796OOOOOOOOOOOOO WHO LIVES IN A LOVE HOTEL UNDER THE SEA?
>>4046799CAROLLBOB GRIMMPANTS!
>>4046764Anon, the date has no real meaning behind it, the planets are what matters.I can tell from what you said before you have some natural skill in seeing, but lack control (madness). You see many connections cause all things are connected, all the time, in all places. The other anon told you to study gematria, this can be useful, but for one that already sees much obtaining more eyes can be a problem, I would recommend strictness (try to not eat something for a week), meditation and some sunlight. What was your dream with Mabel btw?
>>4046812I know well enough about the importance of the planets and their alignments, just as I know the US attacked Iran when several planets were aligned in the night sky.My interest is how the moon phase comes along with the numbers 26/26, and 12/12. and I know from previous experience that the date and numbers Does have a significant meaning despite your claim.>I would recommend strictness (try to not eat something for a week)don't make such a recommendation to someone who needs 3000 calories and 200g protein to maintain his training tempo. I'm a knight, not a monk.>What was your dream with Mabel btw?here >>4039655
>>4046824Hmm interesting dreams.I don't personally think that Mabel is connected with dogs, but I would say in general that what you asked you obtained, right? You woke up from a bad dream. Making such a coincidence happen/commanding a dog is something that can be done.I don't know about the strange art style, never happened to me, nor have I ever read about it.Regarding the date, well I simply believe that it is a convention used by us, think about it this way, does summer begin when it gets hot, or when it is June? Or more correctly when the sun changes his state in his death/life cycle in the solstice?Do you get what I mean? But while I believe this I still believe that all things are connected, even some dates/numbers, so meaning can be gathered from them. Having two contradicting opinions is pretty normal for me, it's part of the controlled madness.About the not eating, it's just an example! Anyway being a monk is pretty useful for directing the visions, praying, meditating etc helps.

Damn it, i forgot to tell the dream i had this night that might give a hint as to what might happen.I had a strange dream of an Ophanim hovering over a blackened sky, watching with a hateful gaze as i looked upon it. Then the next day, some stranger came to preach how it was fake for some reason. and when i questioned it, police came out of nowhere and arrested all of us.and given the eclipse is soon, I can only treat it as another bad omen. but until then, i just have to wait and see.Tell me if you've had similar dreams as of late so i don't have to question my sanity.
>>4047724Since I’m taking some time to make item sprites for my own Rimworld mod, rather than just making art after art, I wanna make something else (the third gen Karasawa and that Koishi hat are my new additions for today)That said, I wanna make more BS equipment pieces for Rimworld, I sometimes just couldn’t put my finger on what to make of stock RPGMaker sprites. I think I need to be more creative on how I present things like Knight King’s Sword or Drake Sword. Moonlight Greatsword would be an easy one since I’ll use Bloodborne as a reference point.and yeah, I try to just keep the somewhat lighter oskarshit in my modlist, and kept vanilla psycasts expanded because the latter is just pure chaos and fun.

>>4051726The part about her being once a student is canon between her dialogue at OW and I believe some stuff the futa says. Picking Miskatonic for it is just knowing that that's the stereotypical university you'd pick in a Mythos story (and indeed what Howard defaulted to often), and it's a freebie reference that also does line up well with the fact that Alraune explicitly seethes at Mary choosing Red's actress as Red and not her as the protagonist, implying some degree of knowledge over Mary's doings and perhaps even intentionality in their participation that could be constructed as them deliberately seeking contact with her or with the gods in general and maybe even Mary offering them their participation in her play, since it was one of her earliest, which is something that would make sense if they were students there and had come into contact with the occult there.

Just checking here: Is the idea that Mary Ann's mother got dragged into her game and forced to play a role, prompting her to break the story so M-A's stepfather could hijack it? Also, why did her name change between games?

Mary Ann is an Alice character and who Mary represents in BS2, like how Lorina is the Queen of Hearts and Prickett is the Red Queen, but the why requires you to have finished the game to properly explain. As for BS1, Mary's stepdad was indeed probably brought in thanks to Shub's meddling, but he was already trying to get in and take Grimm back.
>>4056914Is TCO male, or female? The game is inconsistent and I can't tell if it's a translation error.
>>4057062The gods are biologically and mentally unbound by distinctions of sex or gender as humans understand them. Those only apply to the forms they manifest in, if relevant, although in the BS series it seems they also have a preferred role when it comes to interacting with each other. TCO is typically male in the Mythos and certainly male as far as his role in the relationship with Shub goes, but female as far it comes to being Alice and her relationship with Grimm.
>>4056320>>4055931Okay, unless it's justified by the story dead NPCs showing alive up elsewhere in their quest is silly. Also the eye hunter's quest has by far the best writing so far.

>>4058402I did find another one before cycling again. Now I'm on the path for the true end, but seeing how that fight is going I might take a step back and run around some more to get more levels and materials and scenes I'm still missing. I actually really like how you're supposed to get the proper version of the fight you get the last item for the true ending from. The scene when you go there really sells how out of place things are. That said gameplay wise I loathe how stingy the game is with materials. Unless there's an easier way to get tomes/wisdoms/dreams, having them be so limited of a resource per cycle is criminal and flies in the face of trying to imitate BS2's combat, which it clearly wants to do when you have stuff like the max level whip's 0 turn buffs. Especially bad for dreams when the Cauldron exists. Grains are annoying too but at least that's dealt with in a few cycles.
>>4058745>>4059078Grimm thematically fits best as The Fool. The classic image of him cluelessly setting out on a journey is literally how each game starts, complete with a height drop for him to fall into and die.>>4058767>The World>anything other than GG
>As some secrets were given to the Gypsies to preserve against centrifugal History, and some to the Kabbalists, the Templars, the Rosicrucians, so have this Secret of the Fearful Assembly, and others, found their ways inside the weatherless spaces of this or that Ethnic Joke. There is also the story about The Fool, who was sent into the Zone to be present at his own assembly—perhaps, heavily paranoid voices have whispered, his time’s assembly and there ought to be a punch line to it, but there isn’t. The plan went wrong. He is being broken down instead, and scattered. His cards have been laid down, Celtic style, in the order suggested by Mr. A. E. Waite, laid out and read, but they are the cards of a tanker and feeb: they point only to a long and scuffling future, to mediocrity (not only in his life but also, heh, heh, in his chroniclers too, yes yes nothing like getting the 3 of Pentacles upside down covering the significator on the second try to send you to the tube to watch a seventh rerun of the Takeshi and Ichizo Show, light a cigarette and try to forget the whole thing)—to no clear happiness or redeeming cataclysm. All his hopeful cards are reversed, most unhappily of all the Hanged Man, who is supposed to be upside down to begin with, telling of his secret hopes and fears…
>>4059039Getting your brain scrambled like an egg (or even a lack of knowledge about the situation he's in) doesn't mean that he's inherently unintelligent though, which is my point. Clueless, sure, but not really by choice and certainly not for a lack of trying in my opinion.
I Found this while looking on celestial events in October.a supposed "Planetary alignment" at Oct 22, 2026 featuring Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars. Just 4 days behind the full moon. but have not found much more Info on it beyond this article.https://www.telescopeadvisor.com/planetary-alignment-2026-guide/another thing I just found, is at Oct 4th, Saturn will be at Opposition from the Sun.both of these dates Combined adds up to 26. at Oct 26th 2026 a full moon will arrive. How odd, could I be onto something?
From the 20th of august, We have exactly 67 days until the 26th of october. I'm sure i can think of something to prepare for that day.I think I saw that number in Node's book too. If i can remember. that makes yet more patterns...

>>4060908I'll focus on DLC 2 for the moment since it's the one about Mabel.Sun in Capricorn, not so good at all, it was not much publicized, right?Moon in Scorpio, terrible placement in general. As a DLC it lacked "imagination".Mercuy in Saggitarius. Not very "smart" or "complex" either.Mars in Scorpio, good for hentai/pervert things, or at least fighting.Jupiter falling in Capricorn, I guess he didn't gain much money from this. Plus he in combustion. Yeah he probably "lost" money from this one.Saturn dominating in Capricorn. A "serius" kind of game, if austere in general. Now focusing more on Mabel, as if she was born at that moment in Tokyo.Well, for the anon that said that she is Saturn linked, yeah it works, but she is much more Mars linked, so she would be good with war, being courageous etc.Her Moon placement makes sense, she is a girl that works behind the scenes, holds secrets and is "magical" in general, also this placement could explain her drunkenness, but if we consider Neptune (in 8th house) then it is well explained. But I don't really get her Solar ascendant, unless you factor in the fact that her Sun is Saturnian, so she has a saturninan appearance (black hair, black dress, not particularly formous etc). Her general Saturnian elements are well established as she applies a "block" on dead characters to keep them "alive", very saturnian as an action. In general we see her as lonesome and not very friendly. Her supremely good Martian powers will probably make her really strong in the upcoming war (she did talk about raising an army after all).In general her various Capricorn values make her good with her "work", at least she likes it.That's the general idea, I would say it makes sense.
>>4060987Interesting Analysis, What did you use to reveal that?although, I wouldn't Jump to conclusions, especially with connecting Maymay as Saturnian, She's a good girl who dindu nuffin and because I wouldn't want to potentially anger Yog if I've got it's attention.Though, I do recognize all the strange and ever growing patterns Involving saturn since I've suddenly got the urge to look up the full moon on october.Odd how it all started from a sudden visit by mabel, and all the patterns I've recognized so-far has lead back to saturn. Saturn This, Saturn That. is this foresight or an omen? I think It's a calling for me to uncover something. and I might be helpless to oblige.

I don't know why I've been dragged into this strange rabbit hole. Am I just a disposable Pawn, or a Knight who's destined to change the game...? If it's Mabel in control of my piece, then I'm doomed!>>4061093I hate fairies so much its unreal.
>>4061090I think that also her space/Nut connection is feminine/saturn appropriate in general. As tool for analysis I used my own occult knowledge. >>4061120You can use any normal software to see the natal chart, then you know things on your own. But in general I would suggest you to study with caution, if you are the Aliceschizo, as I told you before, you see already a lot (if not too much), so I would tell you to learn how to not see too much and diminish the schizo part of your mind. Not to see even more, astrology is the highest science in occult matters and it is complete in all things, if you learn this fully you could really see all things (as anyone that studies it), but as you are you could "see too much" do you get what you mean?

Played the current demo for Among the Wolves. While balance is a little off at the start it gets actually pretty good and fun once you're doing bosses; it actually made me use items consistently which is nice. Plus as far as I saw you get guaranteed precombat fleeing so it all mostly works out.Writing wise it has a very different vibe from BS (but somewhat more in line with RHW) and while some parts are shaky or tropey it also has some really nice moments and characters. I'm curious how it's actually integrating itself in the story, since it ends up pulling at something in a pretty smart way but I don't know how it'll try to fit in the broader setting. It's less than three hours so maybe worth checking out if you're not among those revolted by dog semen girl.

>>4063209I think it should be in her room.>>4062665The Lost Empire is way more DeS than DS1 with the whole evil fog turning people into demonbeasts thing.
>>4063218Very nice I like it, may I ask your creative processes not for getting ideas but for making them come true, do you like dead center focused or do you get distracted along the way ?
How much will I ruin the experience of this game if I farm souls and max out my level early on?
>>4063363BS1 or BS2? The first not too much; balance is more than a little wack and in the endgame you usually end up with some broken build anyway, but levelling up isn't really that efficient past a certain point because of the increasing cost and it'd take a long time to max it out. The second you'd probably have a very easy time through most of the game as a result of high stats, never actually learn how to play, and then eat shit when you get to the actually hard parts that don't care about your big numbers and require you to git gud (I have seen people with all stats maxed out, 20x what the suggested stats are for those areas, struggle with the endgame because they never learned to engage with the mechanics). The other thing is that in both games farming is just fucking boring and slow; and because stat increasing items also exist levelling isn't even the main way to get stronger, but farming for those early is also painfully slow. On the other hand all actually strong builds rely on weapons and equipment and their properties so levelling yourself up isn't really the most important thing; both games can be beaten as SL1 because of this. And in BS1 you'd often rather be levelling your companions anyway since they level faster.
>>4063376Specifically talking about the second game, kinda hit a wall in the ship graveyard where every enemy is kicking my ass and I barely do any damage. I might be just used to brute forcing it as I did in the first game.
>>4063394>ship graveyardTechnically DLC, meaning it's balanced towards late base game, and frankly one of the parts where I'd suggest avoiding combat altogether when possible. The real first wall there is between it and the area right after, so you can see how you perform against that encounter and decide whether to continue or come back later. Also out of curiosity mind posting your loadout?
now it's exactly 65 days until either Dead Red is released or Maymay eats us all.how are you preparing for the inevitable? do you plan on seasoning yourself if the latter ends up happening?
i hope Mabel wont be disappointed, my meat is Delicious!
>>4063567We all deserve it vicariously for what Toro has failed to do.I will personally rest myself three days prior in an orange-rum marinade.
>>4063430I was going for a sorcery build, so far I've been able to brute force through most of the game like this. I know weapon handling is important but I'm not really sure how to best use it for sorceries
>>4063626Magic is a little shafted in BS2 unless you have one lategame buff because most spells aren't that good (and because of how weaponsswaping works), but it's not unviable, especially earlier on. I think the demon catalyst is the weapon you end on for that, but either way the biggest thing you should learn to do regarding combat is upkeeping useful buffs. As for your loadout: you should have multiple options that give more speed than the Wind God's ring, both a bigger flat + or a bigger percentage upgrade. One you should have for sure and it's the best one in terms of speed added. The KoH's ring I'd do without. The later in the game you get the less valuable hp regen is, since healing is always a free action (and there are better sources of it anyway). Everything else is good for now if you're trying to maximise magic damage. I think if you have another way to guarantee crits you may swap out the Abyss ring too but it's not terrible. What covenant?
>>4063690I'll keep those points in mind, so far I've mainly used Node covenant to help keep me alive but I'm sure what would be better
>>4063626Magic suffers in BS2 barring extensive Chaos Dungeon grinding, you can still use it but don't expect the BS1 experience. Drop Knight of Hearts' Ring, get more Speed, ideally keep yourself north of 1k whenever possible unless you're doing some galaxy brain SL1 D9 strats but that's besides the point. Abyss is somewhat questionably useful but crit is crit, it's just not something I usually optimize for with gear. You should have a Ring of White Crow by now to replace the Wind God's Ring.If you haven't learned by now, healing with items is a free action and stat mods are multiplicative.>>4063718Very early on, Dodo. As you're a magfag, you want Hatta's covenant or ideally Duchess's if you can manage your Speed. Node's is genuinely one of the better covenants in the game though as HP is the best general purpose defensive stat and only starts to fall off very late.
>>4063722I see, I might change out the crit ring for more speed for the time being, thanks for the advice
>>4063722Oh, and if you're looking for a weapon to fuck around with for magic specifically, you really don't have many options but the Demon's Catalyst is in Oxward and you've got a really good weapon somewhere in the ocean you're stuck at that lets you fully reset your cooldowns with it's special skill when fully upgraded, and the skill itself doesn't have a cooldown. The Sorcerer's Staff also exists but MP is really only a concern very early on barring SL1 shit.
What's the best way to quickly increase SEN?
>>4063746Turn off the H scenes and fuck Node.
>>4063746Go to the moon.
>>4063737>>4063722Would you recommend the old kings ring from the birds candy store? Not sure with that attack down but the magic boost seems nice
>>4063718As the other anon said Node is genuinely a top 3 covenant and usually the midgame covenant you want. Some specific fights benefit from some specific ones (a couple from Lorina's for example) and some others are fun if you're making a specific build but for general purposes Node is great.>>4063730One of the Knights' rings should also be a speed one IIRC.>>4063722The problem with Hatta is that it locks you out of maybe the best offensive buff in the game.>>4063737His ass is not beating Zoa right now; and I find her weapon kinda cheesy anyway.>>4063756If you're committing to a pure magic build there's no harm in trying it. It's very easy to change build on a dime in BS2 anyway so it's never really a problem to commit to something for a bit.
>>4063770Only concern was if it was worth it having to farm souls to buy enough candy for the ring
>>4063786Probably not; there are better ways to get candies anyway. There are I think 5 hidden near the Lutwidge bonefire, and there's a quest that gives 30 of them per cycle.
>>4063281Thanks!Basically, when I got a solid idea to make from, I maintain that to the end. As for whether you can finish it in one sitting or not depends on the mood. I finish the sketching in one sitting, though making the lineart tends to be tricky sometimes because you’re setting the skeleton for the whole piece, but could be finished in one sitting (I finished the lineart in 3 days because I have something else to do).Rendering is fun tho, done in one sitting, then I just wait for Saturday to post it here.So a total of 5 days.
>>4063770>is that it locks you out of maybe the best offensive buff in the game.made me boot up a save, works on my machine, both out of combat and inside itI never actually use the covenant, but I assume the idea is to stop enemies from inflicting it rather than nulling all applications outright.>and I find her weapon kinda cheesy anyway. It is, but it's no worse than something like Hans which you can grab in literally the first 5 minutes of playing and rape the difficulty of 99% of the game if you know what you're doing. The Anchor in that DLC is a lot more plug and play but also really good for a long time.>>4063756>doubles Mag for each ring in exchange for setting Atk to 1If you're wanting to hard commit to the bit, sure, hell even stack a couple if you can, but I like having options.
I hope DRH is as much of an improvement gameplay-wise over BS2 as 2 was over 1
if you weren't a walking corpse like gman, would you die from fucking the moon?
>>4063746Kill the bird.
>>4063968DRH is an immersive sim.
At what point is it generally considered optimal to start grinding the chaos dungeon?
>>4064152since the beginning, for you can just rush to the later levels and snatch endgame gear.Mabel's very generous, be sure to give her a little offering.
>>4064152Honestly? At no point. You don't need the CD to beat the game. You farm it only if you want to break the game in half, max out Grimm's level, get super enhanced weapons at points in which you shouldn't and so on.Last time I played BS2 I grinded the CD exclusives after finishing G at SL1.And then I accidentally deleted my save. Gonna have to redo it at some point.
is it worth going through the chaos dungeon? I never really did it
>>4064264Totally worth it! Do it! Mabel's chaos dungeon is the best!
>>4064280any build recommendations before starting it?
Any advice on how to kill this asshole?
>>4064287Max out Hans, use Jubjub's shriek, and get the Black Rabbit's ring.
>>4064286wear only the mysteries of the night sky
>>4064386I can't believe deep sea knight's distant relative is featured in fromsoft's latest masterpiece!
>>4063870I see for me its similar but it depends on the scope of the drawing, how many characters there are what is the art style I am recreating and complexity of those things, plus background because I am not huge fan of just blank background. On average its 3 days, one day for skeleton, sketch and line art, and other two for color, shading and rendering. Line art is always easy because blueprint is there just sometimes rendering takes long but its a nice feeling seeing it come to reality bit by bit.
>>4064403What?
>>4064450check the latest Duskbloods roster?
>>4064403Ah yes shallow river Jones
>>4064152Optimal in terms of gameplay benefits? As soon as you get access to it because it breaks progression. Optimal in terms of experience? After G End and before DLC3; both the dungeon up until the unique boss and then Ashes Reignited. There's a lot of relevant plot stuff.
>>4064264>missing out on Mabel's library, HK4, the war loredump, and a ton of other important plot infoNo wonder some people don't understand the ending portion. The CD is kind of a mid experience (and miserable if you want to get all spells) but the few highs are really high and it adds a lot to the plot of the series. Also it has the second best shield in the game.
>>4064465I mean yeah you're not wrong, I probably missed stuff because of it, when I was playing before most people I saw at the time were saying its not worth it.
In the chaos dungeon, what determines when I move on to a new depth? Does it happen at specific layers or is it random?
>>4064287High evasion. And I can't remember if there's a ring that gives fear immunity but if there is one then that. The summon is also very helpful.
>>4064287gunbreak + pocket watch x failure
>>4064480Gunclocking is for pussies.
this visited my dream??? CUTE! CUUUUUTEEEE!!!!i noticed her sleeve is missing. is that intentional to make her dress mimic Alice's dress more closely, given the striking similarities? and the fact she's just Alice but drunk?
if she hugged me again, I'd squeeze her like a hydraulic press.
First time getting to Red Hood
>>4064523How does a self proclaimed Aliceschizo not know the connection between the two of them in the books?
500 for Alice>>4064668just noting the change in apparel in that specific scene. given her usual wear has longer sleeves
After you meet red hood for the first time, what causes her to not appear at a bonfire later on? Is it just killing that areas boss or is it going past a certain progression point?
>>4064693I think it's just the former, and the other condition to meet her of course.
>>4064465I got to level 500 so far, its pretty fun
>>4064693>Is it just killing that areas boss or is it going past a certain progression point?Usually it's killing the boss of the area but there are exceptions like flipping the switch in the cathedral or meeting her in the Rabbit Hole.
Node's tits
