>>4045003You can stun lock all humanoid bosses with blood purge, for the big guys I personally enjoy guns too because they synergize with auspex so you can get a higher performance than other clans with the extra wits. Honestly Tremere is easy mode.
Blood purge works for some of them, but generally, you're going to have to supplement your disciplines with a combat skill. It's not like they don't tell you supernaturals are more resistant to stuff like that. Last time I played a Tremere it did feel weaker though. No idea if that's entirely in my head or an answer to be found digging through unofficial patch notes over the years I'm more worried about you being unable to screenshot. >>4045114You could easily swear off guns and do fine with melee so long as you invest in the defensive skills as well. You can get a shit ton of free training for brawl, melee, firearms, and dodge anyway

The answer in lore is becouse thaumaturgy can do a lot of things. Most of them poorly. It's the swiss knife of vampire disciplines in the wod universe.
