The demo is out. Discuss.
>>4046703welp see you in 8 months for the next /v/ thread when the game hopefully releases
my schizo theory is that the US president and soviet secretary are an edge dyad using the the cold war and split between corona and gleam to create the greatest corrivality in histories so they ascend to become new hours
>>4048075The US president and soviet secretary are both secretly being controlled by (((gnomes))).
You get way little EXP for the amount of time you play, especially if you want to gain another personality before the demo ends. I'm finding the dialogue especially dry, too. I liked the bookseller & Vichy chud, but that's about it. Many of the characters in the past games especially correlated to their aspect, and the bunch of French playing cards in the cafe were awfully plain. I don't find there to be much choice divergence depending on your build, either.
>>4048336xp feels okay to me when you start diving into the footnotes but the restrictive skill allocation blowsi havent gotten around to messing with other starting professions but not getting special dialog with the painter as an painter was blehi do like those frenchies in the bar but thats maybe because i gave them silly accents>>4048321is christianity canon in this world? in this game they seem to worship the sun or something but jews do exist because of that flavor text in BoH
>>4048345Do you get what I mean where each character doesn't feel consonant with their aspect (which I presume is in the portrait colour), though? In Cultist Simulator, the Knock followers felt like Knock. Winter, the same. Forge, no question. Same with the villagers in Book of Hours. But I didn't get that impression from the demo so far.
>>4048345>is christianity canon in this world? It's mentioned in the demo. Basically it didn't become the mainstream religion and it's treated more like a niche cult with shepherd imagery.
>>4048336Alexis can't into dialogue. He should just hire someone else to do it.
>>4048609It's fairly disappointing. I gave him the benefit of the doubt as a fanatic of his previous games, but maybe it will shape up in the full release.

>deaded than discoWho would have thought?Either way, I'll bump the thread to tell you guys that I wrote a review of the demo on the walls of the Mansus.
>>4048345one of the followers in cult sim was christian
>>4046703I haven't even won a major victory in Cultist Simulator yet. Nor have I gotten an ending in Book of Hours. Is it okay to proceed with this one? At this point I probably should not care about spoilers anymore. >that face when not in the know
How are we feeling about most Hours missing ang Thunderskin being dead?
>>4048075i like, but im still wondering what's meant to happen with the corrivalry since the colonel is now uncounted
>>4073283Haven't played much of the demo. How did the thunderskin die? I thought it came back. Aside from the horned axewhich ones still exist?
Page 1 is a question, and the Moth always answers Bump.
>>4046703I wish I could lock all /vrpg/ regulars in a room and force them to play this, Starfield and Fallout 3 until their brains melted and dripped out of their ears, like an ice cream under the burning summer sun of Napoli.
>>4064822Ill check it out when i have the time, heading into the wood now...
