Why did no one play or even talk about this game? I feel like it went completely under the radar. I got it during the steam sale and it's probably the best JRPG I've played since SMT V: Vengeance
>>4047043>dungeon crawler>developed by experience incI assume it's identical to the developer's other wizardry cloneswhat makes it better than demon gaze or stranger of sword city?
>>4047043>Why did no one play or even talk about this game?Because nobody plays dungeon crawlers.>>4047127>assume it's identical to the developer's other wizardry clonesHow so?>what makes it better than demon gaze or stranger of sword city?World building and tone, maybe? It's got the same sort of premise as Strange Journey but played straight.
>>4048392this one was great
>>4047043I actually just bought it like 10 minutes before seeing this thread. Is it any good? I got another game on the docket I'm gonna finish first but it seems like a pretty interesting premise. >probably the best JRPG I've played since SMT V: VengeanceThat's not on the list of /vrpg/ approved JRPGs so expect some people telling you to kill yourself in various fashions.
>>4049804I really enjoyed it, if you like dungeon crawlers I think you will too. I really could not care less if people tell me to an hero over liking SMT V: V they are missing out because they think new=bad or that SMT is too normie because of Persona
>>4049579this looks fucking retarded
>>4047043It has low enemy and skill variety, a low number of classes, and it unfortunately doesn't do enough with its setting. After the first 10 or so hours it was a slog of repetitive fights. I got to the first ending and called it quits.
>>4047043If you've played other Experience games, it doesn't stand out much. It's not bad, but it there isn't much it does especially well either. I wouldn't rate it anywhere near as highly as SMT V:V.>>4047127I actually think it's worse than both of those, mostly because it's just a bit too simple and easy, and its primary gimmick sounds cool in concept but the execution is kind of bland.>>4048392That game has its flaws, but it's unique enough that I enjoyed it a fair bit.
>>4047043It's far too drab and is boring even by Experience standards. >>4048392That game, however, is fuckin' great.
>>4048392That reminds me i still have to do the post-game dungeon and also run the WHOLE main dungeon backwards to get my highscore high enough to get the best guns in the game.I won't because it's been 4 years since the last time and i've forgotten everything about the game. Also i'm still mad the ps4 version doesn't have the homeroom teacher bath scene.
