I have finished Hollowwald and its postgame completely, aside from doing some h-scene cleanup. The h-scenes are great as usual, but they're not going to be the focus of this post.I feel like this is hakika's strongest plotge since colony, and it is very much on the level of that game. It will certainly make you feel emotional by the end of it, just like colony. The world in Hollowwald is just fucked beyond repair, and the game's theming and messages are entirely built around Rabi's quote from the end of blight: "Right now, we are alive". Even in a world like that, with no way out from the inevitable end of everything, people just want to live to the best of their ability, for themselves or for someone else. You have to play around how hakika designs boss fights nowadays, that means using up an accessory slot on everyone for the status immunity you want for the boss. There’s no excuse, money is piss easy to stockpile, that also means you can have a fuckload of items too. Don’t neglect defense brands either, they’re pretty important since equipment upgrades are so few and far between.

Hollowwald was a lot of fun.Not really that big of a critique, but I prefer when Hakika gives each party member a weapon class, but he doesn't seem to do it for his in-between SEQUEL games. I think it adds a bit more personality to each character knowing their preferred tool for combat.
So at this point it's obvious that the Thirst TL never existed and it's simply being held hostage by a bad actor. Does anyone want to pick it up? I'm even ok with MTL at this point.
