I'm not gonna lie bros your haha spamming here put me off of the series for a while and probably biased me against Cold Steel so it's my least favorite arc and Rean takes way too fucking long to develop but I'm still glad I got into the series.

I actually did grow quite fond of the city itself, and I would regularly walk around and talk to NPCs just to hear their thoughts on whatever was happening in the plot at the time. I agree that Lloyd wasn't a very interesting protagonist. I wish they had played up him investigating his brother's murder. That should have been his goal from the beginning of the first game.
