>>4058561The farming mechanic in Rune Factory most of the time are lifted straight from Story of Seasons and is actually quite detailed (different crops for different seasons, your crops need to be rotated, different chemicals do different things aside from making crops grow faster, etc.). On top of that the combat aspect, while never the hardest among hack and slash RPGs, are nicely fast-paced enough, never forcing you to choose between farming and dungeon crawling to spend your day doing.Also the earlier titles like 3 and 4 has so many equipment+tools+food recipes you can't get easily aside from a gacha or you trying things blind it borders on being a collectathon.

>>4058613To me that feeling was probably the game's biggest strength. The whole theme seems to be about everything sucks but please don't give into despair. I always picked the silliest options so my MC fit right in with the kids. Dianthus was a really strong contender. I do wish to be held in her big strong arms and she's probably my favourite character.
