>>4060723>>4060745Nocturne was the last SMT I played, but both of you have lists I like. Are 4 and 5 any good?
>>40607555V has a lot of mechanics from most SMT games like demon sources from Strange Journey and unique skills for each demon kind of like Persona. However, unlike Nocturne, they focus less on dungeons and more on a pseudo-open world. They also changed the press turn system a bit so you can now exploit it by returning all your demons back to your party and get 4 hits on the enemy with your main character.4 has some problems with the balancing where it gets a lot easier after the first area and demon stat spreads don't have that much variety. But it does the setting quite well and I like how the side quests help you get immersed in the world. If you played 1&2 there are some parts in 4 that play homage to them as well.

This would change around a bit if I put more thought into it or used a broader definition of JRPG.
