Did any famous JRPG writer recommend or write books about writing JRPG game scenarios? Their stuff is obviously quite different to western RPG.

Picrel is a book by Suzumoto Yƫichi for writing a VN.

Yuji Horii also wrote one.
Yuichirou Kitaoka has one. This one is unknown, but has impressive credits.

Fumito Ueda, Yoko Taro, etc. has artbooks that have essays about their writing.

If you google recommendations, they usually will list translated foreign books on writing. Like Save the Cat.
