Funny that I decided to keep her in party mostly accidentally. I didn't use her in fights until the camp attack event. And I got amused by her "I'll bathe in your blood shrieks" (helps that it's Nyrissa VA) and from then on she was in regular roster. At least it made me keep Ember at home, warm, comfortable and moisturised.

Pathfinder is built on 3.5e. If you want a 2e game then Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 already exist, and because the system is so bare bones, this translates to a shallow mechanically stunted experience where you're building characters purely on a crunch basis as skills don't exist outside of thief skills. Charisma is useless for any class that isn't a bard or paladin, all fighters are grug retards where wisdom and intelligence are dumped, and every mage plays exactly the same. You're not adding depth to the game by making every mage play the same, and in fact are doing the complete opposite by removing options, and restricting interactivity. You're arguing for a shittier, boring experience. I enjoy character building. I like to sit there before I play and plan out my party's builds and the feats and skills they will take on each level, and then play the game. I beat both KM and WotR on "hard" with custom parties of between 4 and 6, and solo'd KM.
