Suikoden no doubt , its cozy, high fantasy, extremely diverse and light hearted but there is enough tragedy and drama to keep things interesting I think I ended up moving to rural France because I got groomed into cozy medieval towns by this franchise

It's kind of funny that most RPG worlds are actual hellscapes. You're best bet if you get isakai'd into a game is one of the worlds where just knowing shit makes you powerful like elder scrolls. I also think Mass Effect would be pretty nice post reapers. I vote Sequel. I either die via snusnu or I end up with a harem of super powerful women protecting me.

The number of demons like that can be counted on 2 hands and most are protagonists or unique characters in the series. There are some cases:1. Adell. He is chill and a kind master. If you work for him, he will allow his comrades to reincarnate as a demon in the Dark Assembly.2. Fuka. Valvatorez and Fenrich like her after she has fought with them as allies from numerous battles so they go easy on her with the Zettai Prinny Project. She is allowed to live freely with them and is in higher position than other Prinnes even through she is a Prinny. She can reincarnate as a demon but she doesn't want that and it's her only option after the Fuka's show.3. Killia. He is greatest boss for the Prinnies. If you work for him very hard, you can expect to be rewarded.4. Zed. He treats his Prinnies well to the point one of them is ready to sacrifice itself to let him escape against Super Overlord Baal.

The big manned Gundam-esque ones called Weapons are very rare and only I think 5 or 6 of them were ever made, and all but two of them had a gimmick where the evil general back at base could push a button and cause the pilot inside to horrifically warp and explode and transform into a clone imitation of the empire's legendary heroes (whose DNA and brainwaves were recorded by their armor). The only mech didn't do that is the G-Warrior made by Cid, an engineer on the allied nation's side, but it was only for the protagonist and he hasn't made more and might not ever. So it's not really a great setting to for other people to live out their mecha fantasies.1/2

And more importantly, there are mass produced mechas that all of the nations have and seem relatively easy to acquire given that rebel units are running around with them. Closest game equivalent would be Vanguard Bandits for the PS1.2/3

A foreigner who worked for them a lot was able to walk out of the country with one of their top of the line models when he went abroad to set up a private detective agency). The Calvard Republic has recently started producing their own mechs but they are strictly only for use by merited military personnel right now.
Morrowind in its Tamriel Rebuilt iteration.East Empire Company/Hlaalu need a lot of clerks, so a safe and stable job is assured. Then learn magic etc in free time, particularly restoration and illusion seem useful. From there, Vvardenfell is a frontier with lots of ebony/glass deposits, so plenty of opportunities lore-wise - that's why there are so many non-dunmer there. Make some money, learn fortify int, get on a boat to Anvil and trade at the stock exchange there.

Now that I think about it, it has a ps1 rpg game but since it's jp only, I know nothing about it other than it looks nice but the gameplay's kind of meh. So I guess it may count for the purposes of the thread. And since it not only has mecha but also a bunch of cute kemono running around, it may just tick all my boxes. Now that I think about jp only magical mecha games, there was Senkou No Clarias, basically a fantasy (spinoff of?) Baldr Sky made by the same developer and while I don't know if the vn can be categorized as an rpg if there's role playing involved but without the stat pumping, it sure does tick some boxes with there also being both mecha and kemono.

Even the first two games took me multiple attempts since I got burned out every 30 to 50 hours. The first Cold Steel game only has the mecha reveal at the very end, being, going by a cursory search, more of a typical jap highschool harem anime but with a militaristic sauce poured over it. I don't think I have patience to go through with it, unless I just read through the wiki and skip to the aforementioned 7 games later, assuming you get to actually use the mecha then on an at least semi regular basis instead of treating them as summons or occasionally pitting them against boss mecha every few tens of hours. And I don't really care about human anime girls, so focus on them is not an attractor for me either, if anything, it's the opposite.

There's only one MC and lots of players that are the prime target for getting hit by a bus. Even if you are the MC, all the Korean games seem to be dystopian hellscapes so you still suffer through most of your day. But most likely you'll end up as some girl hopelessly pining for some guy that forgot about you when the next banner came or sharing him with 50 other women.
