Was it ever hinted how Edwin remade the meat world guys into what they are? I know that he did it, but he would need a special power to turn them into what they are, otherwise they would have just been crippled or killed by him. I guess he has the power of reassembling in some way, which might either be caused by how he witnessed the visitor or by a personality trait of his, similar to how Lyle can trap people in photos because he likes photography. Further, if the victims were his neighbours that went to the apartment to check on him the original apartments of them could only be apartment 30, 34 or maybe 35 before Sybil moved in. Meaning that one of these apartments might have been that of Spine, Stretchface and such, unless I misinterpret things.

After doing the Promise ending, I gotta say, it feels a bit too uplifting and idelistic. Naively so. It doesn't feel right for the cosmic horror story, where you're retaining your humanity in horrible circumstances, even if you have to sacrifice a lot to see it through. And c'mon, the Exalted Four DON'T go through a BIGGER change after talking to the Visitor? Sam can go from human to a tree of life-esque giant tree that spans the entire world, and don't even get me started on XIN-AMON. Sam doesn't even mutate at all despite being outside and looking up at the visitor during the ritual.Perfect Ritual: Denial has the right amount of "sacrifice" to make up for all the good that comes from it, I think. The Exalted Four are dead, Sam is a giant tree/mini-visitor abomination, and who even knows what happened to your companions.

I think Lyle's insecurity comes from the fact that he's someone who is evil but wants to be liked. Zalmoxis is his real self, this is why he doesn't stutter when he's assuming his role during the roleplay sessions. Fidget will consume junk on use even out of combat, so you burn through a rare finite resource just to use his one unique gimmick and are punished for giving the junk to him, and the only good reward from the crossword thing is getting nerfed into the ground instead of just buffing the other four.I really don't get the point of doing this to him. It's not like he's broken or overpowered, and the tome is a reward from a time sink superboss that just makes him finally good once you manage to get it. He's just going to go back to never being used when this happens.

The only thing that would make sense to 'nerf' is just making the end game bosses resistant or immune to broken bones.
