I had LoreRim installed until just recently and that was almost 1TB and even though it's one of the most polished modlists out there, still very unstable with CTDs every now and then. It's great for your first time playing. Then you realise that most of the quests are basically the same: they send you back and forth across the map, talking to NPCs or fetching a number of items. That's when you start downloading mods to make the game fun again. Legendary mode is just stupid and not enjoyable. Survival mode too.

You'll form such a wonderful, intimate bond with a female character Serana, all the while adventuring the gloomy winter landscapes and all kinds of amazing emotional vibes. It's fascinating to be around Serana and to get to know her and her story and dealing with her family and just the whole fucking thing... it's just so beautiful.It was the single greatest gaming experience I ever had and I've been looking for something like that ever since but I haven't found it yet. If anyone has any recommendations, I'm all ears.No, nothing's perfect and once you finish the game, things slowly become more boring because you've seen it all but yeah, Skyrim is fucking awesome, there's a goddamn reason it's so popular. And yes, it'll work on your machine. If the Anniversary edition doesn't work, you can always torrent the old "Legendary" edition, that will certainly work on older machines.
