Anyone else playing the autism build simulator? what are you cooking? favorite god? favorite type of creature?

Apparently there will be an 3.0 update sometime by the end of the year/next year
>>

This game is stupid in the best way possible. It captures that childhood spirit of playing pretend. You build overpowered garbage that shatters the universe in half. I really need to get back into it.
>>
>>4071723
I beat the game and got another 100 floors past that iirc. My biggest bottleneck was that I had so many turn zero auto combos that I hit the game engines safety limit and it always cut me off early. This was still nowhere near reaching end of game content lol
>>
>>4072766
Thats tutorial level as far as i am aware, you unlock things until floor 500 or something?
>>
>>4071723
I played a Druid but it appears nobody else ever played Druid because I have been unable to find any updated build for years lol
>>
>>4072776
I think it was floor 1200 or something. Main reason I stopped was that progress began to require heavy grinding to buff up each specific pokemon, so any bad choices or team changes would require a big time investment
>>
And it’s not really like you unlock things, most of the game is before the final boss. And then afterward you get one new superboss every 50 levels for a long time. Plus one new mechanic every 400 floors or smth
>>
>>4072776
>>4072814
last frature unlock is guilds and annoints on floor 415 iirc but it's been a while since i checked
there's still plenty of shit to grind out past that point but it's stuff you've already started
>>
>>4072814
The issue with this game is that "ramping" builds will get terrible as you progress, you want to end fights on turn 0 so you can grind faster so you get shit faster and so on

Monk, Pyromancer and Purgatorian are the top specs and its not even close
>>
>>4073109
monk is absolutely not a top spec, it only has raw damage via crosswinds going for it
effective melee immunity doesn't matter when the only threatening things are spells and indirect

This is an amazing game but I wish I wasn't so tired so I could talk more about it. Tempted to just wait for 3.0 since trying to create a Mermaid team is making me scratch my head and burn out. My last team was an amazingly fun Cataclysm team. They're new and I'm surprised someone backed such a fun idea and cool monsters. The mermaid ones are not as interesting but maybe something will click with me if I keep thinking up ideas
>>
>>4073438
Mermaid is another ramping class like herbling, its simply going to take too much to build around it, no?
>>
>>4073844
You can still do 1 turn setups for the most part with ramp up classes. I've seen Reavers do 0 turn builds before, but often it doesn't feel like a "Reaver" when you go that route, but still. Sometimes I don't want to end a fight at turn 0 and want to interact with the spec
>>
so is this a game where end game just about every player has a different build? Or is there meta monsters everyone uses.
>>
>>4073849
I feel like this game becomes yugioh in the sense of "Screw your deck theme, make a turn 1 invincible board with generic cards or fucking lose"

Again, my only short experience is until about realm 500 ish before resetting recently and not look any builds up, so i could be wrong
>>
>>4073869
Every build is "viable" only caveat is how long you want to make battles last (and thus your time)
>>
>>4073876
You could make a cleric build that is unkillable and wins in a couple of turns on realm 2k+ if you wanted. It all depends on what you want out of the game. Also realm 500 isn't even when the game fully opens up either, too. There are fights that could just completely hard counter a team you made that's supposed to win on turn 1 or even turn 0. Though usually on instability 5, you want to have some manner of safety net to deal with variables like an Elf or Satyr or Nix. Or a perk that helps cut down the amount of variables. The game is very, very flexible and even a generally weak spec can still climb if you plan properly. Turn 0 or Turn 1 teams are kind of just time savers in long grinds, just like some people prefer full clearing a realm before moving on while others just rush for important stuff/realm quest and move on asap.
>>
I wish there were a site I could visit to find builds instead of the gay fucking discord.
>>
>>4073906
Thats like, half the fun of the game

NERF BLOODMAGE

I would settle for an active forum.

Lets go back to the year 2000
>>

Waiting for 3.0 to pick this up again. Played just the story with reaver but fights would take a long time. Pyro seems like the consensus beat the story quick start.
>>

>what are you cooking?
It's been a long ass time since I last booted up the game and I honestly don't remember what I was working towards next or why I had my team set up like this in the first place, but it was an Animator setup.

>>
>>4071723
I stopped playing this garbage after they added tranny flags into the game.
>>
>>4085698
Very mature of you anon, you showed em for sure
>>
>>4071723
I played it for a bit and had a good time but it was definitely treated as an 'in-between' game.
Hell, I could and probably should download it again just for that purpose. I'd have to start fresh but that's not too bad.
>>
>>4090593
I played through the initial storyline twice because coming back into this game or starting a build up from nothing in the endgame seems really daunting

The humor was extremely cringy at times, then there is stuff that made me chuckle
