The Greatest CRPG ever made.
>>
>>4081629
Are there any other games that actually craft their enemy encounters and not just drop a bunch of random shit everywhere?
>>
>>4081629
It was dogshit, I'd rather play BG3 than this trash
>>
>>4081869
crafted enemy encounters don't matter when the system is so busted they don't even get to make their turns
>>
Can you really call it a CRPG when there are no stealth mechanics?
>>
>>4081869
Wouldn't say this describes RT very well. But it does describe all of Larian's games to a t.
>>
>>4081629
kek, I havent played it yet but I very much doubt it reaches the comfiness of kingmaker nor matches the epicness of wrath.
>>
>>4082447
Not OP, but it for sure is much better than either of those. Still not actually good though.

>sneaking around in a crpg

anon, how do you expect to become strong enough to beat the final big bad baddie if you avoid fights, there is usually no sneaking around they, you know?

>>4082451
Damn. You know how to sell a game.
When I finish kcd2 I guess I will be venturing into uncharted star systems.
>>
>>4081629
how accurate was the ruleset adaptation?
>>
>>4082456
Very loosely. This ain't Pathfinder and even that made concessions if you're in the know with tabletop ruleset. RT retains d100 at least.
>>
>>4082466
I get the feeling most people never complained because they just don't know enough about the tabletop version.
>>
>>4082191
Dropping fifty buffs including Improved Major True Invisibility on your rogue to instagib enemy caster is not a stealth mechanic.
>>
>>4082564
Imagine playing crpgs and not investing in stealth skills just so you can complain about having to cast high level versions of invis to function as a rogue.

I'll kill him with his own nuclear warhead.

>more 40k slop
It could be the best game ever made and I still wouldn't touch this shit.
>>
>>4082661
u no like fascism?
>>
>>4081629
Just looking at the bland, Marvel-esque cover art tells me all I need to know. The game is a vile “product”, aimed at unfuckable men with disposable income. Avellone would have never approved this art for one of his games in 1999. Therefore, I won’t play “Rogue Trader”.
>>
it's not even the greatest CRPG made by Owlcat

its systems are so fucking bad that it's the only CRPG I've ever played that actively made me hate the process of leveling up.
>>
>>4081629
They nailed the athmosphere, but the combat is atrocious and it's twice as long as it should be.
